Thank you Lauren, it honestly makes me feel better haha because I really don't like to put out bad quality/shaky camera footage videos but on the other hand it's also really difficult to film inside Chanel since most associates at Chanel discourage filming so the camera work is often shaky from me trying to be discrete and not make it obvious I'm vlogging. I'm always going to try my best to improve my videos for you and other people watching 🖤

Honestly with all the Chanel 22 drama and really bad quality I’m so put off from purchasing in store, now I’d feel forced to buy pre loved vintage because the current seasons have so many defects with peeling leather etc. Search Super Dacob Chanel 22 update 😩

Oh yes Chanel usually always asks everyone not to film at some point but not always, and security is everywhere- sometimes they follow, often they don’t. If they follow you, stand up for yourself and say you need your space, I swear if a guard followed me after I asked them to stop I’d give him my ID and tell him to call the police if I steal anything but to stop following me right now 🤓🥸

Thank you! You don’t need an appointment but it will be a long 2 hour plus wait unless you have an appointment so I do suggest getting one to avoid waiting in line & receive better service. You should be able to book an appointment at any store in any country. Do you not claim your purchases for VAT refund? I thought if you wear the items, then you're not eligible for the refund.

Hey! I got my VAT back (over $1000 for everything I purchased which was a really nice bonus) That's not true about wearing the items, you can wear your stuff and remove any tags etc, just keep the receipt, you get the VAT automatically on your credit card (if you choose that option). For the VAT once you go to the airport, you use one of those machines to automatically scan the paperwork (the boutique will give you the paperwork when you make your purchase) and then it will either turn green which means you have nothing left to do or it will turn red and that means you have to take the paperwork to the VAT desk and an officer might ask to look at the receipt and the item (they just looked at my receipt, not the items I purchased) I'm back home now and have left Paris (but I have 3 more Paris videos coming including the CDG Paris Airport luxury vlog 🥳)

Why wouldn't Chanel want influencers to film? I haven't been to this location since 2007, but I'm about to try to buy an item or two because you just filmed it. So, yeah...you're basically giving them free advertising. Right? 🙄🤷🏻‍♀️

They’re very paranoid at Chanel, they think you’re filling for a robbery or theft apparently so they dislike all filming unless they know the client, then it’s up to the discretion of the sales associate. There’s no rule that you can’t film, they just tell individual people they can’t film 🥹

Also if you found the black and white version then they should be able to find the other colors as it will be a similar code just a different color code at the end - I would ask the associate again and tell them this, and then if that fails find another associate to help find them. I've had similar experiences where one assocaite can't (or doesn't try hard enough) to find an item but a different associate easily finds the item) 🖤
