I have a few questions. 🤯 1) How does the usb port sound compared to using your computers 3.5mm mic port? Whats the background noise and sound quality like? 2) How does the usb port sound compared to using your computers line in port? Whats the background noise and sound quality like? 3) How do you gain stage this mic? Do you set the gain levels on the transmitter and leave the gain set to 0 on the receiver? Should the receiver gain always be set to 0? There's a bunch of videos on youtube about this and everybody seems to be giving confused answers. 4) Any video sync issues? Did you have to set a delay in obs? If so how many milliseconds.

Made the mistake of having it be an output device instead of an input device. With the Neewer cm28, you don't have to turn it off before plugging it in either. Just plug it in and you're golden.

Yeah I'm happy with it. Not the greatest mic, but for the price it's definitely a great performer. For this system, it's my go-to lav mic and I don't have any major complaints

You have to use it with the receiver to the computer, unless using Bluetooth, but the Bluetooth quality isn't good

I use the rode Lavalier mk II with it and it's great. You can mute the mic transmitters by quick double pressing the power button.

On OBS I’ve noticed that when I plugged it in, after a few moments the receiver says “confirm” and shows like the usb-c isn’t plugged or something . Have you seen that before? It does it very frequently, I just press to confirm and when I speak , my audio levels seem to be moving as normal and I can hear myself when I monitor but I did a test reaction video and I couldn’t hear my mic audio when playing the video back. What have I done? Lol

Mono will make both mics be identical in sound to the left and right channels. Stereo will make 1 mic go to the left channel, the other mic go to the right channel.

DJI Mic receiver has the USB-C connector, that you can plug in so why using cable?

The mic itself won't read as an audio source. Only the receiver. The mic can only transfer files via usb
