at 68 after 56 years of training i train carefully each body part worked twice in 8 days arms and legs monday wednesday delts chest back then cycle as such weekends off 5 foot 9 175lbs about 11 percent bodyfat train to momentary failure 3too 4 seconds positive 6 too 8 seconds negative no momentum no injuries moderate cardio 3 days a week on non lifting days great advice as always

Very helpful, anyone commenting negatively has neither tried it or are still quite young and are swimming in youthful hormones and can recover easier ( although they would benefit greatly from this too ).

I'd like to get back into shape but sleep apnea has clobbering me until I get into a rhythm with CPAP exercising would be pointless for me

I have severe sleep apnia at the age of 62 ,ive had it about 6 years now ,but i still manage to do some exersizes, i have given away dumbells but do lots of reps free hand exersizes etc ... Isometric stuff ,twists ,squats sit ups anything you can do for a period of time until worn out .... Eat less and move more ,theres hope for you ,but i understand you ,this sleep apnia is definitely devil sent without a doubt. .
