Back in the day you were expected to use the wiki or just explore and stuggle. But now its been built up over years and years its alot more complex to start and no one uses the wiki as a part of the game expirence anymore.

Honestly, Minecraft just isn't that great in general imo. Like the survival aspect is fun for one or two runs, but afterwards your just kind of sick of it. The building aspect, unless your a top-tier architect and you know every trick in the game, your buildings will all come out extremely blocky and basic because of the harsh limitations restricting everything to be cubical. That's excluding all the bad Microsoft has done with it since they bought the game, like making people pay for mods and continuously adding unnecessary or complex updates to a game older than it's target audience.
