Grimes writes/produces/sings all of her music. She is completely self-taught and considers herself a producer above all else. She also designs all her own album art and directs her own music videos. Think what you will about her terrible choice in men lol but she is truly an artistic genius! You can watch her progression of learning how to produce from her 1st album, which was literally made from garage bands and things around her house, to her latest album, which is spectacular.

Seriously. That's my favourite song on the album. And he was vibing to the track before it which is meh imo. And the only track he really seemed to like gets on my effing nerves 😂 To each their own.

Grimes is definitely one of those artists whose music finds you at the right time. It isn't for everyone, I don't think she could be conventional even if she tried😂World Princess II and Realiti used to be one of my favorites but personally, I wouldn't have recommended this album as a first listen. Her visuals are sick though

I think you’d enjoy the follow up album a lot more, Miss Anthroposcene, its way darker in sound, not so poppy
