I'm losing the number of times you referred to COLONIALISM, dude. Is this subliminal messaging 😅 I hope you're just as eager to point out the COLONIALISM of western countries
@doug_barnardАй бұрын
to my knowledge the island was most recently and notably colonized by the japanese, hence why i spoke about the island’s colonization by the japanese. if it were colonized by france or the netherlands then i would have talked about france or the netherlands. i think you’re reading too much into it
@-zn6duАй бұрын
Pretty sure the whole world knows the intense colonial past of western countries, but very few people even know about Taiwan let alone its history, which is covered in the bloodshed of Chinese colonialism. Why would he talk about western countries while travelling an east asian country? Sounds like a west-centric mindset you have. He is telling taiwanese history, or are you just triggered?

@-zn6du looks like you're the one who's triggered and up for a keyboard battle!! Is he presenting a travel vlog or veiled social commentary and propaganda piece?

He's a big boy, you didn't need to jump to his defense, I'm pretty sure he's able to handle a few words of criticism. So do you know him personally to be able to verify his intentions? Or am I texting his handler?
