The standard is no longer Christ only: the Word made flesh; and faith in His empowerment to help us keep His Word. When a new believer comes into church, you don’t just write down their name, and their number you nourish them you teach them. You don’t stop putting rules the Lord directs you use the directions that the Lord gives you to give to others and not judging someone that they’re not ready yet because I receive the Holy Ghost and I was high very high and he did come in me, and he change my life. No one knows what God has for anyone else but him.

What a blessing! Just a humble human who has given up ALL for Christ. Thank you pastor Doug. I truly want to study God's word with ALL of my heart and have a relationship with God that is eternal. The Holy Spirit woke me up to a delightful Bible study nearly most of 2020-2022. I've become lazy with studying and sincerely need a revival. May God send a revival and help us stick with Him to the end. God bless you:)

We study the Bible we read the Bible, but we have to study the people that come in the church kneel and be kind and humble to these people because we don’t know what these people have in their hearts. We don’t know if they will come back, but at least they’re baptize and they’ll make their way back.

I really appreciate this presentation. I have had a concern for decades regarding the evangelistic series, people being touched by the truth, gettung baptised 3 days later, and then just left to carry on, on their own. It seemed like the Evangelists were more cincerned about the number of people who gave their lives to Jesus because of their meetings. Mine and my husbands current issue is, when we moved to Las Vegas 4 years ago, we were seeking out a new church family. We found 3 different SDA churches and one that (according to the internet) had changed to a Sunday worshipping church 😢. We tried the 3 churches several times and were very sad that we literally had only 2 people at one church, shake our hand and give us a bulletin, and the other 2 churches, there was no hellos or welcoming. One of the churches even had people stand up during the music service with a band, dancing. We don't know what to do with all of that. How in the world do we find a new church family when they don't care that you're there or not. Has anyone else had similar issues, and what did you do?

Which church did you go to? The 2 largest SDA churces in Vegas (Mt View and Paradise) have many visitors each week, it's hard for them to track frequent visitors. Approach the pastors and introduce your self. With big churches we have to be more pro active. If you're used to the more traditional worship, then stick with Paradise.

Happy Sabbath!!! I have a question. So, I was not “buried alive” when I was baptized in the SDA Church. I was converted. I remember my husband thought I was crazy when he saw me throwing all of my DVDs in trash bags because I felt like they were separating me from Christ. I had over 200. I was very converted. Since then, I have back-slidden and it’s been harder for me to get back up than it was the first time. I pray for God to help me. I tell Him, I can’t do it on my own, I need Your help. Help me to submit my life to You! I’m nowhere near where I was even before I became an SDA. I was a stronger Christian before I became an SDA than I am now and I don’t know what to do about it.

Keep praying. Forgive yourself for leaving and just stay in the presence of Jesus in prayer. For I know God will wrap His arms around you and you will know you are forgiven and always loved. This from a back slider twice yet Jesus searched me out and brought me home wrapping His robe around my shoulders and celebrated my homecoming!! Praise Jesus for a love we don’t deserve nor understand but He loves us anyway because He feels we are worth it that’s why He died for you and I!!

The reason it gets harder is because satan and his servants are trying to discourage you from moving forward as he sees you as a threat. You may even see rejection from your very loved ones. Regardless, keep this in mind YAH, (God) has sent his son to pay for all of our sins from beginning to the end. You have been forgiven and noone can take that away from you but you yourself. Even if you backslide you need to get back up and dust yourself off and understand that your faith and endurance is being tested or strengthened. We pray for strength and we receive troubles that make us strong! You are on the right track, Be aware satan assured YAH that he would turn his children against him as this would cause us to suffer in eternal hell with satan for his betrayal. The one truth no one can take away and deceive you is that satan cannot make us sin but he can tempt us and trick us to commit sin. Satan and his servants are building a stronger resistance against you to divert you away from YAH as this could lead to other people wanting to follow that path as you give testimony on how YAH has blessed you. hope this reaches you as my messages get deleted 😔, here is a thought for your heart that may encourage your keeping of the sabbath. For decades there has been so much controversy over the sabbaths that the beauty of it has been lost or diluted simply because people have not read the entire bible or simply just dont understand it. The sabbath is not meant to be a burden nor a punishment. The sabbath has become more of a burden for you because the devil is showing you the pleasures of this world you are missing out on. Also knowing you will find it to be tempting because that is what you grew up knowing to be entertaining, with this said you are more liable to want to distance yourself from YAH so you may seek these worldly pleasures. The sabbath has become more of a burden than a blessing for many as even The Pharisees went as far as counting the amount of steps you made a limited amount or you were in violation of breaking the sabbath. The real question is we live on his earth but have we really lived? Where do you live if i may ask? Are there lakes? Or any other nature areas that you like? Bible warns us about even sitting with unrighteousness people to eat with them is forbidden but the truth is christ sat with many sinners and ate with them but the difference was he sat with them to give them the gospel and not for self pleasure. He even healed on the sabbaths and if you really stop and think about it wouldn't that have been enough to convict him of? Yet he was convicted of blasphemy (claiming to be God and having the authority to forgive sin?) I wonder why we have never convicted the pope for this nor put him to death! Neimiah 10:31 teaches us about knowledge and understanding (all answers lay within the bible itself you just need to look out for them and he even tells us when it is about wisdom or knowledge or understanding..) he tells us why we cannot buy or sell (not because of a mark!! But because it is a sin to work on that day and buying or selling causes one to work. Now you may wonder if the world came to a complete stop them who would be able to heal at hospitals or stop crime.... the truth is if you are led by spirit then you are not bound to the law but with respect to righteous living. In other words keeping the sabbath is not a must but a sign or a mark that separates you from the world as it shows that despite you knowing you are not bound to the sabbath by law you fulfill it out of love, ( love me above all things)hope this helps. I have much more to lead you but it must be you to seek him diligently. Much love and blessings to you and your family. I will be praying for your husband aswell..

In the Bible they read from the scriptures for a quarter of the day, that’s 6 hours. Who was it Ezra. Amazing Facts should implement that for one sabbath. A 6 hour Bible study, sermon and prayer. 2 hours for Bible study. 2 hours for sermon and 2 hours for prayer. Let’s see how many of the faithful to the church show up.❤
