EDIT: On Reddit, Doug said: "Although everyone I met at Dutton was very nice and they had very impressive cars, they did confirm via e-mail before I arrived that I'd drive the Enzo, but that turned into "the general manager says maybe tomorrow," which turned into "the general manager says he doesn't want it on the street." I was supposed to film four cars there, but I cut short my trip after that, switched my flight, and left after two. This has never happened before in hundreds of videos and dozens of dealerships and private owners. The video is still great, but in the future there will be no more videos without drives (unless the car isn't street legal, like a race car of some variety), and I will insist on formal confirmation with a top-level employee before I book travel to any dealer to drive any high-dollar car."

The profile on that car is quite possibly the most beautiful lines I've ever seen on an automobile. Every angle is just gorgeous. Timeless styling and design. Whoever the guy in R&D or E&D that came up with this beauty deserves a employee of the decade for that one. Ahhhhhh I love that car!!!! I've always wanted to see a silver and exposed carbon fiber one. The center line being exposed CF and the fenders doors and quarter panel metallic silver with a half inch Ferrari yellow pinstripe separating the 2.. With the big yellow and black prancing horse logo on the fender. Pheeeewww!!!! I'd love to see that paint scheme.

interpol007 Each Dealership is different. I am 19 and I regularly go and test drive vehicles for fun. Some dealerships will let me test drive brand new cars, others have to drive off the lot and then let me get in the drivers seat in a parking lot, others just won't let me drive at all. Some dealerships are weary of letting me drive while others straight up get the keys and we go no questions asked but "You have a drivers license? Yes? Good, get in." Driven anywhere from sports cars, to SUVs, to muscle cars, from brand new to used. Like I said, each dealership is different though.

Back in 67 they passed a law in the states (which I am unsure if it has become an official industry standard or not) saying that all vehicles needed to have turn signals that could be seen from the side for safety reasons. Most modern cars have integrated/wrap-around turn signals. So it would appear that this vehicle has those "dinky lights on the side" are not for additional blinker information but rather to comply with the law as those front turn signals are not visible from the side.

Please hear me out Doug...you re-review some special cars due to lack of in depth detail, but I’d love to see how the Enzo drives. I understand it’s 0-60 is out of this world but wow showing how the car drives creates such a special video. Obviously it’s not easy getting your hands on one of these but if you could drive one, the whole world would watch.

I remember when the Enzo came out 20 years ago and how it was somewhat 'revolutionary' and perhaps easily the coolest, most advanced and radical Ferrari design ever...at least in a long time. I haven't googled this, I'm only relying on memory, but it seems that Enzo Ferrari -who founded the company- died either around the time that this model came out (which is WHY this model was created -to honor him and his memory) or perhaps some years before 2003 when this model came out. Until just now after having watched this video, I have actually never seen any 'video footage' or a 'tour' of the Enzo Ferrari online or anywhere else...only online photos. I'm glad you did a tour of this car, Douglass, but this video unfortunately is incomplete as you weren't able to 'test drive' this car or give it a "Doug Score." I imagine that for 'weekend' category of your "Doug Score" it would rank exceptionally high: Methinks that 'cool factor' would be a 9/10; 'importance factor' would be a 9/10; acceleration a 10/10, steering a 10/10 -- maybe this would score higher than any other car you've scored in the 'weekend' category. Conversely I reckon that 'daily driving' category of your "Doug Score" would be abysmal: Uber poor gas mileage and cargo space which would translate to very poor 'practibility,' decent materials, quality, and reliability, but a very uncomfortable and harsh drive and unpractical for other types of daily usage (grocery store runs, etc.). The lack of modern 'features' in this car (touch screen, auto anything, radio, modern gadgets) would also score very poorly.

Not saying it's guaranteed here, but they *have* been caught red-handed doing it in the past.

Again. It's a classic car worth millions and nobody will let him nor anyone else drive it for a KZbin video. Keeping it off the road will maintain its pristine condition. Even if he drives it on the road properly, there is a possibility for cosmetic wear and tear which will ruin its value.
