I guess I'm their target market - 72 years old and a retired executive. Actually I had a 2017 G90 5.0 AWD which I traded in on a 2020 G90 5.0 AWD. It took me months to get (ordered Jan 2020 - took delivery late May 2020) but of course there a pandemic disrupting the world. Anyway as to the wheels - did not like them in pictures but now that I've had it awhile I am getting to like them. But even if I didn't I would still love the rest of the car. I think the 2020 is actually quieter than my 2017 was. Anyway I am the proud owner of a 2020 G90 5.0 AWD Ultimate in Uyuni White with the Beige/Havana interior. Love it and I don't care if it is a "niche car" or not, I love it and plan to replace it only when they redesign the G90 in three or 4 years. Great cars that need some advertising,

Yup, and my families first Lexus in 1993 was the 1993 LS400 which had power headrests, power adjustable seatbelt height, voice control, with cell phone included, Toyota's TEMs suspension, power rear sunshade, and tons that had everyone running to catch up all at a price significantly lower than the Germans. Hyundai and Genesis didn't break any world records with the first car with any new tech. It's all tech we've had for years. The new 2022 G90 is amazing, but not sure NA will get it. The new GV60 EV. Genesis, 14 years after founding, is finally hitting it's stride. Lexus hit it's stride before it was launched. Huge difference.

Man I test drove a 2020 g90; it was silver gold. It was the best ride ever! I was getting ready to get it and while I was test driving it, someone purchased it before I got back from the test drive! And it was the only one the dealership had on the lot! They told me they can’t keep them! 13:29 I LOVE this thing's dash and center console design. Substantial lines and forms without the "ooh look at this arch and this cutout and this crazy stitching" that get slapped on to a lot of luxury cars now. There's just the right mix of analog and digital with the main screen, physical dials, and the nice but not overdone clock. About the clock, I really like it's placement in the middle of the AC vent area--a lot of luxury cars have the clock bulging out the top of the dash, but I like the G90's placement more. Overall, I love the uncluttered and understated layout.

I really appreciated your review of the 2020 Genesis. You were quite thorough. I am not looking to replace my Mercedes S-Class at this time but you got me thinking! One thing though.....you repeatedly call this a "cheap" competitor to the other luxury brands. I think that "less expensive" is a more forgiving description; especially since there is nothing cheap about this great looking car.

An appealing aspect of the 5.0 V8 is that it is perfectly happy with 87 octane fuel and you get 400 hp. To get the full 420, you have to use premium 91.The Euro ones are premium required. I have an older version of this V8 in a Kia K900 and it is a beast of an engine. You cannot appreciate a V8 unless you have driven one. It's like vodka in a shot glass vs. a beer keg. Americans always smile when they see a keg at the party.

I have this TAU V8 in a 2020 G80 5.0 AWD Ultimate. Last year for a V8 G80. I drove the TT V6, but this V8 was WAY NICER, in my opinion. Apparently, it makes 411HP with regular gas, but I always use 91 or higher octane, for the full 420+ HP. I saw a black K900 several days ago. A RARE car on the road and very striking in appearance. With this V8, OUTSTANDING !!!
