I just rewatched the video, she bought and made: 11,937 calories of pasta 2,250 calories of Sauce 18,000 calories of meatballs (damn meatballs are more calorically dense than I thought) 3,660 calories of cheese 4,200 calories of breadsticks That’s 40,047 calories for *17* people That comes out to 2,355 per person, which is more than the daily recommended for adults. Keep in mind there are multiple kids under 10. Recommend caloric intake of people there: (ages approx as I don’t care to do math and cross check ages, that’d be to much, using baseline activity levels) -2,000 -2,200 -2,000 -2,000 16- 2,964 15-2,964 13-2,414 12-1,606 (steep dive actually) 11-1,520 10-1,520 9-1,600 (higher because boy) 9x2-1,600x2 Any child under this age is recommended 1,550/varies heavily due to activity level so I will be using 1,550 for all of them as a baseline This is 29,088 calories needed for an entire day for this group. Not ONE MEAL. Dinner should be 25-35% of your daily intake. Meaning dinner should be 8,726 give or take 1000 more. Meaning there is about 31k extra calories sitting in a non-food safe environment (due to temp of the room and the children grabbing it with their bare hands, washed or not). Leftovers will not be food safe or viable. Weather they ate them or not doesn’t matter, they shouldn’t have, as it was unsafe and bad foster/adoption/parenting practice. I get my numbers from a NHS nutrition book my roommate (a registered dietitian) has in his office. This is the first time I’ve ever sat down and looked into this this hard but I’m even more appalled after putting the time into it. (Someone in her comment section said that this was a normal amount of food so I just had to check. The autism number goblin in my brain wouldn’t have let me not.)

I got so excited when I saw you were covering this video. I’m a pediatric nurse and this was beyond ridiculous. Cake for breakfast, dessert, McDonald’s and cookies for snacks and Kona ice?!? 😧 the kids have youth on their side now, but by the time they are adults if this continues she is setting the up for future cardiac problems, nerve damage and diabetes. Not to mention the lack of mental health she provides or teaching them to cope with unhealthy mechanisms, or the sheer lack of medical privacy. It’s an absolute violation of their medical rights. My Irish-American Mom generally wasn't the greatest cook but she made excellent meatballs and lasgna that she learned from her Norwegian-American friend who learned from her Italian-American mother-in-law. This is insanity! No wonder she used frozen meatballs because it would’ve cost a thousand dollars for the meat alone to make actual meatballs. I myself cannot stand frozen meatballs so I would’ve made those ahead of time the day before then reheated in a crockpot with the sauce while I was shopping or quickly in the oven while the 80 lbs of spaghetti was cooking. Truly sad for so much to be wasted. I see way too many homeless people daily in my small city to waste that much food.

I used to be a daycare provider and would get sooo mad at some parents that would be okay to give there kids basically sugar every morning.. I make sure my own kids get a healthy breakfast in the morning.

The piñata just gave me a flashback of a birthday party I went to when I was 6 or 7. We all lined up to take turns (the birthday girl didn’t go first which I think is weird) but I was second in line after some other kid. So when it was my turn I took one good swing and I broke the piñata open. I remember getting scolded by all of the mothers that were there because I broke the piñata open and the birthday girl didn’t get to have a turn hitting it… like… okay, then she should have gone first.. I remember apologizing profusely and they said I should have met the bday girl break it open. I was never invited to another party in my neighborhood after that. All of the moms in my neighborhood were incredibly snobby and were really mean to me because my mom was an alcoholic. I had a hard home life and they couldn’t even provide me just a little relief by just letting me be a kid and play with their kids.

I’m doing dishes… I paused and looked to see what silly move you’d make for her DD intro, and I started howling when you showed up in the white claw costume and wig. 😂😂😂😂😂😂 I wasn’t ready for it. 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Mine too.I grew up not knowing,at times, what my next meal would be. We always had something but sometimes it would be noodles with no sauce or a piece of white bread with mustard or mayo. So many people are struggling now.

This is just gross. You can tell the kids don't know what to do here. It's chaos...and her husband is totally checked out. He's clearly only still there for the paycheck. He can't be bothered with the kids. He's barely civilized to them. The kids are overestimulated all the time. Wtf are they thinking? I have 3 special needs kids and they are all older now...2 teens,1 adult, and they still have to have really low key stuff going on at home,a healthy diet, enough sleep, parental interaction...they tell us what they need...but nobody is listening to those kids.😢

I think it’s because his “present” was re doing the play room, so she bought a bunch of new toys, equipment and storage stuff for that. So his actual gifts he got to open on his birthday wasn’t much. Compared to her usual.

I am registered dietician with a masters degree in human nutrition and even I let my children have cake for breakfast 😂. But that is ONCE a year on their birthday. The rest of the year they eat a mostly natural, low sugar, whole foods diet with no food groups eliminated (I don’t police what they eat at parties or their friends houses). I mainly work with the elderly now days but these children cannot honestly eat like that surely? In SOME cases I actively encourage snacking but a happy meal is nutritionally void and definitely not a snack. I am sure most of this is just for content…
