& none of the ‘we eat chocolate, but we don’t allow our kids to, or adults glut coke but kids never have anything fizzy 🤷🏼‍♀️seen so many family channels that are like that. Each child is treated as an individual, not just one of a group of kids. I used to watch a channel that were going to tour the world in one of those huge rv things. One of the kids ‘volunteered’ to sleep on the floor 🤷🏼‍♀️ For a couple of years he didn’t have a bed. Then I realised the were in the essential oils pyramid company things, they were a bit further up in the hierarchy. I realised that because how could they do what they did without money? I hate what schemes like that do to people so I stopped watching. Another thing that got me they would only buy each child 3 Christmas gifts, their reasoning (they said) was baby Jesus only got 3 so that was good enough for them. How can a parent with enough money see let’s say a 5 year old girl, some pretty clips, some glitter pens, colouring books, pjs, cute teddies… they didn’t buy expensive gifts either. It never seemed like it was related to finances. They bought one teen daughter a hair styling head, great, she really wanted it, but no clips, brushes etc. the kept fizzy drinks, chocolate and sweets in their room, children didn’t get them. They terrified me when they would visit other countries and leave I think 9 kids at night with their 16 year old sibling…in a country they didn’t speak the language. I do think there are times when it’s good for older kids to step up & babysit etc, but in another country 😩 They began to remind me of Jon & Kate

I LOVED hearing how Wegman's employs the disabled. My 27 year old special needs son is a bagger at Publix (we're in Florida) and it is amazing! He takes pride in his job, is never late and really feels like part of the team. He lives independently in a little condo close to "his" Publix so he can walk to work (he will never be able to drive). Your son will be able to do this one day...Patrick, right? You are giving him the tools to be successful and I'm sure you will see him grow and be able to do so much. YOU are amazing parents and have a wonderful family. Love you all and keep up the great work!!!!!!

Girl, the red lipstick, the Black Cherry White Claw, the paper plates, the 'junk food', the ketchup sandwiches, not being there to tuck your kids in?? WHAT KIND OF PERSON ARE YOU!!?? Oh, that's right... A BUSY HUMAN MOTHER! I LOVE THAT!!!! I've never watched you shop before; I will tell you, I'm so happy to see that YOU make the full effort to make everyone in your home fed and happy and healthy. INCLUDING, most importantly, YOURSELF, without being the crazy in your face health-nut type. And the special things you do for each child is awesome! LOVE EVERYTHING!!!!!! No negativity here, I'm throwing a high-five, fist bump, elbow, and CHEERS on that White Claw, girl!! 💕💕💕💕💕Have a very blessed day!! And thank you for sharing your life with us!!

Than you so much for educating about Bree’s sugar issue! You are such a great mom to not restrict. That will set her up to have a good relationship with food! Also, I remember you mentioning that Dash has POTS. When you said he feels better with a capri sun, it reminded me to tell you the that I also have POTS and in the POTS community something called Liquid IV is super popular! It’s a little pricey but any type of Gatorade or other electrolyte drink will suffice as well! Us POTSies need extra an electrolytes/salt/sugar combo to help with blood volume and fatigue! I hope this helps 🤗

I disagree with the choices having a good relationship with food. It could also teach them to eat just because it's there to eat. No hate but I do think portion control is a good concept to learn it teaches to stop when they are full instead of thinking it looks or tastes good. It's something I am trying to train my brain to do and it's hard to break that habit

I've had POTS for 10 years and was NEVER told about the sugar aspect! Even at the Mayo Clinic.I've been having trouble again the last few years and nothing seems to be helping this time around. I'll definitely give the Liquid IV a try! Anything to help with the large intake of water per day.

I think it's actually a good thing to display healthy drinking habits to kids. Some are so sheltered that they binge drink as soon as they're out of the house but by having a parent drink a couple drinks a couple nights a week, it shows good moderation and choice making

I'm a former foster kid who unfortunately had a pretty cold, old school journey through care. (Our food was restricted, locked up and anything sugary was locked in our parents room. With an actual padlock. A bit graphic but I think it's important to mention because this kinda stuff was not uncommon in the Foster system in the 90's and early aughts.) Watching your channel gives me so much hope. It really does, seeing you purchase their safe foods and nurture their differences in a positive way that actually helps them learn. It has really given me so much hope that the system is actually changing.

No idea how old dash is but I remember being at a point where I was extremely dizzy/weak when I did basic activities like bending over to pick something up and my doctor recommended gatorade! Unforunately for me, I absolutely despise the taste of gatorade so I searched for a alternative option and found something called power water, I really like it and it helped a LOT but I had to be careful to not drink a lot because they're higher in sodium. If Dash is young he might like them because they just taste like juice lol it also comes like a sippy cup with a lid that snaps shut It might be worth a try :)

Love watching your grocery haul! Hello from Minnesota- I had never heard of Wegmans until I watched your videos! You really are great at remembering each child's likes/dislikes.. and no need to explain yourself on the white claw! No judgement! Lol

I am so very happy that these kids have you! Every child needs someone who loves them unconditionally. It's obvious that you do and not just on the videos. I know from my kids who were raised by adoptive parents that not all people who adopt are as good as you are. I LOVE that each child has what they want or need food wise and that you are ok with that. My kids always had that with me but not with the people who adopted them. I guess the hardest part for my kids was that I taught them about stranger danger and then the state just threw them with strangers to live, just makes it hard for a child to thrive.

I have a tip you may know to keep your milk past the expiration date. When you open it you can add a teaspoon of baking soda to your milk so it doesn’t go bad After you put the lid back on you kind of rock it back n forth to mix but don’t shake n if any crackers or chips get stale put in a baking pan n put in oven at 200 degrees for 10-15 minutes n take out let cool taste like new

Watching you shop makes me think of the private yachts that come through where I live every summer, they have more carts than you do though they have on average 7-9 carts filled to the brim of groceries we close a register down just for them for about 1-2 hours and it takes 3 cashiers/bag packers to ring their order through once they fill cart 1 they go to the register and we unload & pack it all it up for them and by the time we finish cart 1, they're coming up with cart 2 and so forth, I'm surprised the store doesn't do that for yours it would make more sense then dragging 4 or 5 carts to the register all at once.

The easiest way to house train is to use a kennel or enclosed area to keep the puppy when not being monitored, & of course doing lots of extra outside potty sessions. From my experience dogs should not be allowed to free roam until they know how to hold their potty for going outside. Taking them outside more than necessary will teach them faster. Otherwise you’ll be cleaning up several messes per day. Puppies take a lot of work!💕

I really miss Wegmans, I always thought they had good prices for the stuff that they sold, because it's always quality. I no longer live in the East coast areas and here in Colorado we don't have Wegmans or save a lot, or P&C. I am from a small town between Rochester and Syracuse called Red Creek, I know you probably don't know where that is but it's a very small town and there is really nothing there anymore. All the jobs in town kind of dried up when Comstock foods closed.

Hey, it's Dawn again! I just saw a comment from another person who wondered how you can pay for all these groceries. Like you buy some " high end products " like, steak, shrimp, etc. Like, it's not really our " business ", but, since you post all these grocery hauls ( which I love to watch) it would be very interesting to know how you pay for all this food. I have legal guardianship of my great neice and nephew. We live in Florida. Without food stamps, my husband and I would find it very difficult to feed them.
