Ehhmm... Douglas got his facts wrong about Venezuela. At 23:30 in this video he says that in Venezuela there is no word for saying "sorry", and that instead people say something like "it sucks to be you" whenever you bump into someone is as true as Alice in Wonderland. In fact (considering that Venezuelans don't speak a language called Venezuelan but Spanish) there are many words for it and it is very common to hear it if you push someone while walking on the street or any other situation that Doug may have had in mind at the time of this statement. I am Venezuelan and have always lived here in Venezuela. Of course our cultures are quite different, and although we may seem very agressive if you watch the international news, the truth is we are a very gentle culture. However I recognize that we have important issues regrading general cohabitation, and no better proof of this than the actions of our current government.
