to make the cam could you youse a fine thread nut and bolt and clamp the bolt in the milling machine vice and youse the nut as a cam and advance the nut into a running milling cutter one turn upwards after it starts cutting driveing the nut forwards by using a spanner or is there a better way

It's great thx for sharing. How did you the Cham that's the interesting part. I'd like tho one of those however, I have 3 cutting edge .C'Sinks and 6 cutting edge.

Use od of wheel traverse across it would need a tool and cutter grinder your doing only way you can with that set up

@@DougRoss1956 I like your video since it is the first video that shows how the 'receding' cone sections are made by advancing the cutter towards the wheel. However, I less appreciate your "I forgot" answer when asked about how the cam was made. Do you want to keep it a secret? I can't imagine that you forgot how you mastered such a challenge...
