Hey randy, I bought this after you reviewed and loved it!!!! Now I see there’s a 7-band version without volume control and balance via a screw turn. I bought one too. Did your review have something to do with Douk’s upgrade????? I bet it did!!!! Thanks!!!!!!!!

You know your stuff for sure. Amazing. I was looking for a preamp/equalizer from my pc to my edifier bookshelf active speakers. I also use a HDMI audio extractor and output it RCA. Thanks.

i use this betwixt my bose 901 eq and willsenton r800i to get back to balanced level quick and tuberifically. all my gear is balanced except for my turntable and this eq (but the turntable goes to an ifi zen phono preamp that is) so I thought this would give me a better eq and not mess up my sound from the ifi zen one signature dac. it has met with universal approval from my discerning and professional friends even though this is a cheap item in a solid mid-fi setup.

I want to use this between my Dj mixer and monitor speakers to take out some bass, would it cause a delay?

I bought 2 x of these as buffers between the processor and the amplifier for the front 3 Left, Center and Rear speakers. I ran the test tone to adjust the volume into a neutral position.

Thing is the upper eq bands on this are pretty useless, ideally you want 6.3khz 8khz and 10khz

Trying to do too much at once.... tube buffer, pre-amp, headphone amp. Just keep it simple and do one thing.

Why no tubes? Helps the analog circuit equalization.
