Loved watching it! and I don't think the voice is not a problem you are free to choose if you want to use your own voice or an software voice and there's no problem with that Also another thing, the 1455 locomotive that pulled your train is the one that have the most similar livery to the original colours! with a much darker blue than the other CP 1400 trains that have this retro livery at the moment

Thank you so much for your comment and input regarding the voice issue. 🙂 Thanks also for the information about 1455. Why didn't CP paint them all in the same blue? Interesting that difference between locomotives showing the same livery but one darker than the others. Thanks for that!

Yes! I had family in Douro when I was a little boy. So, I know this line very well. I remember even older trains (unfortunately lost) with coal locomotives, some of which were recovered a few years ago. Nice work.

I did that trip many times between Penafiel and Pocinho, also have some videos there and last one I did is "Malha Ferroviária do Douro" which has English CC subtitles.

I suggest you try the "Linha do Vouga", the remaining segment of an old railway line that connected Aveiro and Viseu towns, now it just goes from Aveiro to Macinhata do Vouga. Vouga is the name of a river just like Douro. In former times, it was the last railway line that still used steam locomotives, back in the 1960s and using narrow gauge. As a son of a railway employee I had the opportunity to travel by train since an early age.

Thank you for the suggestion! The Vouga train is on my list for the future. However I'm waiting for the middle section to reopen so that I can travel the whole line from Aveiro to Espinho. Maybe in 2025? Thank you for your comment!
