HOW IT ALL STARTED & AN INSIDE LOOK INTO MY DAILY LIFE • DOUTZEN DIARIES

No better way to recharge after busy times then at my mem's home in Friesland. Literally walk barefoot in the grass and eat fresh veggies from the garden. It’s here, surrounded by nature, that I get to feel grounded again. And I love taking Phyllon and Myllena to see their ‘beppe,’ so they too will grow up knowing that sometimes all it takes to make you happy is spotting a hedgehog. It’s the perfect antidote to my other, ‘glamourous’ life, which I love too, as you can see when I get to dance the night away at the Bazaar Icons Party in New York.

She is naturally beautiful, like Adriana Lima (Adriana has a more sensual intense beauty, she only had a boob job) and she got a very classy, feminine beauty...her profile reminds me a bit of Grace Kelly - maybe the nose and jaw -.... it's good to see these naturally beautiful women being also so easy going and down to earth. A very natural beauty compared to those who went to the surgeon and get their faces and became beautiful (first I think of is Bella Hadid which btw I don't find that beautiful...she has somehow a weird beauty and too.much things done, especially her nose has been overdone). Doutzen deserves to be a models, Adriana, Irina, Candice, Grace Elizabeth and so on are natural.....those who come from a plastic surgeon studio or from nepotism do not deserve to be where they are; it is not honest imo.

She has such a classy, beautiful face; she's naturally very elegant in her manners and way of being. I'm sure she's grounded and down to earth thanks to her strong family values and upbringing...a positive family bond and discipline. This is good also for her children, to enjoy their childhood and experiment life in nature and learn things little by little in this way, not always being attached to tablets and phones. That's the way I also grew up and it's priceless. She seems a very nice person which values family a lot and life as well. Beautiful couple, their children are gorgeous :-) love the countryside. Almost all kids in The Netherlands are precocious, probably because there is more interaction with grownups, living in tight quarters/small houses where the family is always together in the living room. They hear many more words that way from a young age, and that boosts intelligence and the ability to learn more.

I've always been drawned to Doutzen for a reason, been following her career, how she's doing but these episodes are really beautiful and I actually understand now why I felt a connection to her. She is a really nice, sensitive person with same values as my mother taught me. I had a chance to grown up in a small town my grandma on a countryside had chickens, rooster, goose you name it, we had a wine yard. It's a great place to grow up as a kid and as she said it's great to carry that with yourself wherever you are as an adult.

I grew up in Germany and lived in a small farm town for 4 yrs when I was around 10 yrs old. I loved being out in nature every day. I would walk every dog in town and visit every horse I could. I wouldn't trade those memories for the world! You are very refreshing and I enjoy your videos!
