Join me while I show Derek Blasberg (friend & Head of Fashion and Beauty for KZbin) around my hometown Amsterdam. @@tp3931 ahaha :-) I practice sports since I was 7, swimming and volleyball. I still swim 3 times a week and go to the gym for strength training twice. But the most important thing is that I have a very good culture and education, which is fundamental. "Mens sana in corpore sano"... it's latin and they were so right about it. OK so during the first 3 minutes I felt really bad for Doutzen. She seems to be such a warm and genuine person. And I felt bad for her because this Derek guy is belittling her several times. He tells her she is addressing the youtube audience wrong, then he asks her to tell him about her country and immediately starts snoring when she does, telling her that she is boring! I have read other comments saying the same thing as me in regards to Derek's behavior in this video, and then I've seen Derek himself replying to several of the commentators and saying that they are being mean to him. I personally don't think the commentators want to be mean, they just react when they see him being quite mean towards Doutzen in the video. You can see that she gets a bit sad from his comments and you just feel for her. So Derek if you read this, please take some time to watch this video again and reflect a bit on how you can be nicer to others.

About the red light district, saw a documentary where the dutch police explained about many eastern european and African women are forced by their pimps to work in that industry. Their families are threatened so they don't report their pimp. They aren't quite the willing and content entrepreneurs people may think they are. Its complicated. Thanks for showing us around Amsterdam, it was fun!

There’s a bit of irony here. Most comments are encouraging Doutzen to be herself, but she is showing her true self by displaying a true friendship on camera. The editor or production team probably didn’t foresee the type of reaction they would get, but this is common in vlogs where fans perceive their beloved figure being slighted and don’t react well (just ran into another of these type of situations on another channel I follow). Tough to say because people’s interpretation of interactions vary, but I personally enjoyed this first episode! Please keep them coming! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
