Dove Cameron seems to be a lot happier these days. We couldn't be any more proud of her. She can go solo if she wants to, and she would still flourish and shine every chance she gets.

what dove was saying about feeling a sort of interconnected web of human energy and shared experiences hit SOOO hard - whenever I'm having a tough night i literally just picture everyone else around the world and imagine what they're doing at that exact moment to feel stronger, and whenever i think about death i don't view it as some lonely thing but as THE most shared experience to exist. it also helps for more mundane things, like thinking about other people working at the same moment as i'm trying to motivate myself to start working lol but yeah it's REALLY powerful

i always love dove’s interviews, she has a way of describing things and connecting with people that is so special and human. she’s helped me get through so much over the years being open abt her mental health & identity. so few people in the public eye are open about things they go through & showing their human side - while i get why, i’ve always loved that she does. watching her grow & growing with her over the years has meant a lot to me. love this interview🥰

As someone who’s been aggressively following Dove Cameron since 2019, I have felt her humanity, and her humor so internally. I bought her glasses that she was selling at the time just because I wanted to feel more intimate with the products she sold in assemblance to get closer to her. I learned about that guru that she post on her Instagram and I’ve never seen spiritual content on Instagram until she showed it to me. I admire her mind, and the way she uses her Instagram so fiercely. While she is completely beautiful she is also littered her intimate thoughts just based off her face alone for the past 10 years. Plenty of people have done enough research on her life to uncover Enough vulnerable parts to where I have empathy for her trauma. And Dove, you yourself word yourself beautifully. You are incredibly emotionally intimate and I am incredibly grateful to see someone as big as you feel comfortable enough to perform the character that is you enough to where I can perceive you in a human way.

THIS IS ME! Sometimes I feel like I’m searching for a celebrity or somebody of influence who is going through the exact same self journey that I’m going through, and Dove is it. I am the same way. I am very emotional, self-aware and I enjoy living life and I love humanity, and for a long time I thought that that made me “ok.” I didn’t think that there was anything I really needed to work on with myself, but I was very wrong over the past few years in my 20s when I’ve come to realize that I am lacking in a lot of self-worth, a lot of self-love and a lot of self-confidence. So much so that I have never been in love, never been in a relationship, for some reason I fear intimacy because I’m afraid of other people seeing those insecure parts of myself. I keep very busy and I don’t like being still because I have to come to terms with all of my own fears about myself. I’m sure a lot of people feel this way but for some reason Dove was the first person of influence who I have listened to who has said exactly what I’ve been trying to say about myself. Wow would I love to meet her and work with her one day ❤

Wow. I didn't know she lost her father at 15. I lost my dad at 16, and literally had such a similar experience to her. I dove right into school because I didn't want my little sister to see me broken and unable to cope with what had happened, as a way to show I was okay. Dove is such a self aware human, and people who have experienced loss are very different from people who haven't had to deal with loss (esp at a young age).

Im 30 now and has also been through so much trauma and found in my 20s as well that I was unaware at how insanely aware of myself without being aware of myself I was and then finding that is entirely a coping mechanism entirely brought on by mass traumas and I just sat there doing that very same thing of diagnosing everyone else bs because I wasn't ready to be confronted with mine. Fast forward to my late 20s I started confronting all of my traumas one by one and getting into the head space of having what they call conversations with your own trauma and I started writing poetry off and on depicting conversations with my trauma and it really is healing. I believe whole heartedly that music and the industry is hard work but that this type of work is perfect for her so long as she is able to write her own music because it will continue to be therapeutic for her and also the world gets to witness her growth come out in her music and in her style and there's something just absolutely beautiful about that sort of connective ability to the world that you don't see but they see you in such an unbelievably intentionally clear way there's such power in being so transparent with total strangers in this type of platform. The change she can bring by literally just chronicling her own process is powerful in itself.

I have never been able to explain the empathy thing with liking dark movies and connecting to the villain characters more because of their backstories and now I can. Most people look at me like I’m crazy when I begin to express empathy and understanding for the ‘bad guys’ but it really does hurt my heart to watch anyone being mistreated or hurt on screen. If anyone can relate and needs something new to watch, the animated series Arcane is the best recommendation I could ever did. The creators did a flawless job at character development and allowing you to understand why the ‘villains’ are the way they are ultimately and that no one is truly all good or bad. In all, Dove is so well spoken and aware and it’s truly an inspiration ❤️

Holy mackerel, my dad has a sweater just like the one Zach Sang is wearing in the ad-read segment of this episode. Literally God is Guiding me here!

Dove is an angel. Can't wait for her album, no matter when that 'click' may appear.
