Your gonna love it! Its different with a mojo, alot of time your just waiting on 1 to fly with in range. With the mojo they fly right to it... not every time but it definitely increases your chances.

We hunted public land this year in S.W. Ohio on the 1st and 2nd. Not as many doves as in years past but still loved being out in the field with two of my boys. Some years the mojos work better than others, I've had them try to land on the back of a mojo more than a few times. This year they didn't decoy as well but they responded quite well to calling them. Keep making videos I really enjoyed this one.

The duck decoys. This is the first year that I've hunted doves. I took my oldest boy who's 8 years old, he is hooked, and he now wants a shotgun so he can help me. In a couple of years I'll be taking his brother along for the first time. I live in western Nebraska and the game bird opportunities out here are plenty! I went to a number of dove shoots growing up and always had a blast. Last year was my first dove hunt in probably 10 years and it brought back a lot of good memories. Yea they do.. for us season goes out then comes back in in december through january. We're duck hunting them months but the doves are still around.

It depends on where we're hunting but I think 2 sections of the decoy extension pole would work just fine that's what 8 feet. I think its 4, 8 and 12 feet. Cant gone wrong with 3 dove mojos! Thanks for watching.

I have found that mojos work best in a field that doesn't have alot of hunting pressure and you will have doves decoying like ducks! also agree camo doesn't matter but I have found through trying to video dove hunts movement will flair doves so if you have a go pro on your head put your go pro in loop so you are already recording before you take the shot! thanks! im in fl.. i pulled a quota permit for a public field on 10/10 and i never been wing shooting or skeet at all.. just got my first shotgun for turkey this year so id figure id try it... actually im trying to get out and shoot crow for practice soon since season is open... i have heard doves like field corners and fly with the wind to their face.. is that true?

@@Richardpipi that's awesome! I cant really say I've had better luck hunting a corner or they fly into the wind not that you've heard wrong ive just haven't noticed much difference. I'd try to find a tree to sit under and I'd use a improved cylinder choke tube. If it dont say on the choke tube itll have 4 stars or notches on the end of it. 3 notches is a modified choke I'd use one of the two improved or modified. If they're flying away from you shoot under them alittle if they're flying straight at you shoot above them a little and from side to side slightly shoot in front of them. A doves wing beat like no other brid. It's like beat, beat, small pause beat, beat beat, small pause. Iol you get it once you see it and when you do it's easier picking them out when they're flying. I'm excited for ya. Let me know how it goes and feel free to ask me anything.
