Idk if this is for all music schools but when I learned drums sometimes they’d say fuck the sheet music if the students couldn’t read it and would beatbox like that guy did because hearing the sound and timing was easier for them to pick up and then they’d go back with the beatboxing and sheet music so maybe that’s how

I played with a group for 5 year and didnt know much more than chords and some rhythm and it was easy and fun to join in and play. I learned a lot throughout those years and you are right once you know a thing or two you can jump in and have fun. I just wish I could be patient enough to teach myself how to play piano

Antonio Martinez this band is very unusual. I've been in this business for decades and never worked with a group that played together like this and can read each other signals. We won the International blues Challenge and were sent to Memphis without ever rehearsing. The first time we competed I had never even met the band but we played like we've been playing together forever! Crazy!! Glad you guys like it ..

I'm not just impressed by the improvisational skills, I'm genuinely moved by the fact that rather than shoot down a legitimate style of music (he could have easily ignored a request for hip hop/rap because a lot of people dismiss it) he actually paid homage to it. This is in some way the future. The ability of humans to find similarities in differences and appreciate all the variety that different cultures and walks of life have to offer. This is fucking amazing. This is the power of music.

This was the first video that inspired me as a drummer to try trap on drums....because before this i never thought those skrrt kinda effects on the hihat can be played live and hadn't seen any other videos back then where drummers did that. Respect. It's 2 years now and trap drumming is now a language to me.

Grammatical Erorr - A fewfunky sounds used in EDM are made by distorting guitar sounds. And a lot of past pop songs have been on that sax, flute and brass instrument buzz.
