I'm not just impressed by the improvisational skills, I'm genuinely moved by the fact that rather than shoot down a legitimate style of music (he could have easily ignored a request for hip hop/rap because a lot of people dismiss it) he actually paid homage to it. This was the first video that inspired me as a drummer to try trap on drums....because before this i never thought those skrrt kinda effects on the hihat can be played live and hadn't seen any other videos back then where drummers did that.
