Yes bhai you can cover that route during that time.. problem mainly will be Manali to Chandigarh where the roads are almost washed away at many places.. they would make them stable and dry out by then but don’t expect good roads

Hello Dheeraj Bhai, I'm reaching out from Hyderabad. Our Ladakh trip is scheduled from August 24th to September 4th. We're considering sending my bike to Chandigarh, starting the full circuit from Srinagar, passing through Manali, and ending back in Chandigarh. However, due to uncertain weather conditions in Himachal Pradesh, we're unsure about the feasibility. We want to confirm if the route from Chandigarh to Srinagar and Kargil is safe. If conditions improve by the time we leave Leh for Manali on September 2nd, we'll take that route; otherwise, we'll opt for the Srinagar route. Can you please provide advice regarding the safety of the Chandigarh to Srinagar route?

From Srinagar side things are still not bad but chandigarh to Manali is pretty bad condition and will not improve much in next week or so.. people are traveling from Srinagar side and looking at the weather forecast of Jammu and Srinagar, things should be OK. Call some numbers of JKtraffic police and confirm. Also call local hotels you are booking in Srinagar and Jammu to confirm on ground conditions

Itinerary wise it looks OK, if there is a rest day in between like at Padum then it will be great. Also, once you go beyond Purne then rains can cause some problems. Also, keep an eye on weather updates always.

Kargil Padum 18K Leh Padum 20K Manali Padum 20 K Padum Purne Padum 10 K in one day. There is no fixed taxi costing from the Union and these are rough estimates that taxi folks charge up there. Roads within Ladakh are fine at the moment.. Pangong to Nubra is bad. Passes roads are bad. Regarding AMS, take at least two nights of rest in Leh and stay very well hydrated

Hello.. The bus service from Delhi Leh is currently not running due to massive landslides in Himachal. You need to somehow reach Keylong by buses or hitch hikes to Manali first.. roads are bad to Manali. If possible go from Srinagar side and try to come from Manali side, may be by that time roads in Manali will be stable for passage. I will try to make that video but for Bangladeshi citizens, it is a mixed set of reviews. As per official guidelines, you need to get permission from MHA/MEA New Delhi only. There is no circular where it states you can get permission from Leh DC office. I got it checked from Leh DC Office and there is some confusion there too. I have heard/read some people saying they got permit from Leh DC office but I cannot be sure because I do not see any official update and even today the circular includes Bangladesh from special permit from MEA Delhi. So, upon reaching Leh, inquire at Leh DC office before heading there to be on safe side.

Well, if there is at least 8-10 days of dry spell in Himachal before your trip then it shall be OK.. it is the lower hills where the problem is mainly.. higher reaches are all dry and clear weather mostly

Yes you can pretty much reverse it bhai and there is no permit fee or environmental fee as of now for Zanskar

You can do that if visiting Padum. However Manali bike will not be allowed on sightseeing of Ladakh
