This actually helped a lot. I’ve been torn between a power bank or a battery box/dual battery. I’m going to go the battery box option after watching this, I know I don’t need it right now but I think I’d just rather buy once cry once lol.

Imho it's the best way to go! Same price as a big battery bank but the convenience outweighs having to always haul that thing around and keep it charged up.

Great info. Thanks for sharing. I have a question regarding the Tremor itself. I’ve been camping several times and have had the trucks battery die do to opening the doors throughout our 3 day stationary stay. I was wondering if you found a way to turn off or keep the trucks lighting system, and screen, from coming on every time you open a door.

I've never experienced that personally. My suggestion would be maybe do valet mode or calm screen. That being said, Even at 3 days just opening doors and such, I'm still a little baffled how the truck would drain down. Have you tested the battery? I know I read a few guys had issues with their original batteries.

One thing I do is turn off the auto -deploy running boards. they deploy and retract every time you open a door. Even with that, the computer and screen boot-up is still of concern. Last trip i was keeping all the doors open instead of opening and closing every 2 seconds. Pretty annoying. Dont camp without a battery jump pack, for sure.

What alternator did you put into the truck?

I didn't. It's stock. The SBI and BCDC connect to the alt to power the 2nd battery. That way you're not pulling down your crank battery and in emergencies you can reverse and jump start main battery from 2nd.
