Yeah I've heard that when you see people who hang their paper towels/toilet paper the "other" direction, it's because they have cats lol....in the video, you see the cat unrolls it....if it unwinds the other direction, the roll just spins and spins without unrolling....🤷🏻‍♂️

I thought it was Spike in the beginning. its so. crazy I was just thinking of a very similar mechanical concept for some craft paper dispensers for under shelves small hole on one side offset hole on the other side small ring on the end and larger ring locking it in place. I made something similar but i added a hinged flap to the top, allowed me to slowly unroll the towel and yank it to tear it. That way i only need one hand. Great when hands are dirty

As someone with a little smithing experience the most impressive part of this is re-straightening the square stock. Trying to straighten a coil from a spring was the hardest thing next to hand peening rivets.

I laughed when you hung the roll holder up, I knew it wouldn’t work. I had a paper roll attacker, his was tp, and I finally left one roll for him to attack and hid the nice ones in a cabinet.
