They may be selling out - but as they said in an interview, they are getting distribution of the new album "Quid Pro Quo" in Coles Stores. Who goes to cd stores anymore? EVERYONE goes to the supermarket. That alone is a huge win for the band. Plus massive royalties for the music, appearance fees, and now an Australian Tour sponsored by Coles. That's how 70s Rock bands make money - touring. They know what they are doing.

Top five Reasons as to why this is a good thing 1 it gives a new lease of life to the song 2 It is far more easier to digest than the Woolies "Fesh Food People" tune which is rammed into you when ever you go there 3 It is funny, 4 It brings Them back again & gave us another Status Quo Album, 5 Life is far better with Quo in it at least I think so

It's Quo's music. They can do what they like with it. Good on 'em for introducing their great song to a whole new generation of listeners. BTW, notice that Francis's guitar has a maple neck and Rick's has a rosewood fretboard. Both appear to be Tele necks. Do you know why we're seeing this? Because the mainstream pop-culture skidmark that is popular radio doesn't play these guys. Woolworths and Safeway were originally different companies. There were both Woolworths and Safeway stores operating in Victoria in the 1960s, 1970s and early 1980s. Quo sold out a long, long time ago with their cheesy, degrading, silly school boy pranks and gimmicks. As if they ever needed it with their immense back catalogue. BUT...saying that this one isn't half bad. Its obviously a bit of fun but at least they are rocking'. Actually this remix of Down Down is on bloody fire!!
