My Mommaw sang this song to me while she was rocking me in the swing to put me to sleep. My entire family swears she didn't sing. Only to me, shall this memory be. She died last year.

Yes indeed I agree, first recorded in the US - Atlanta Georgia in the 1920s. It featured in Star Trek The Next Generation Season 7, as a lullaby sung to Deanna Troy by her father.

Glen always made every song he sang, just sound glorious.. There will never be another to match him. Just love listening to him. xx His quiet sense of humour was tremedous, just like him. Rest Easy Dear Glen. xxx

My grandmother sang this to me as she would caress my nose to put me to sleep when I was a child. I have looked high and low for this song and I've finally found it. Thank you Mr. Glen Campbell, Rhinestone Cowboy!

Have you ever heard him sing Amazing Grace, with his bagpipes on him. If you haven't you should check it out there are a couple of them on KZbin make sure it's the one from his Goodtime hour which was on in about 1967 or 68 it is mind blowing because I've never heard anyone that could play bagpipes like that. In between the lyrics while the music is playing you can see him blowing into the mouthpieces getting them ready and I can watch it over and over and over and over! Rest in peace Glen Campbell! I loved you from the start when I was a little girl.
