Hatice and hurrem were the only one who were actually loyal to Suleiman. Even though they had beef with each other but they never did anything against Suleiman even times when something happened to Suleiman hatice would comfort hurrem

Hatice was loyal until the Sultan did something she did not like, she told Beyan to never question the Sultan and turned around and did the same. Hatice was a hypocrite and deserved everything she got later on.

They all saw how nasty, greedy and evil Mahidevran was during that time, yet they allowed her to continue to be respected and treated far better than Hurrem, even when Hurrem became the official wife. That makes no sense to me, because surely seeing how horrid she is should have made a difference in her treatment.

Honestly, where does Mahidevran get off? Slapping Aybige, who is effectively a princess. Mahidevran is still a slave. She has no right to threaten or strike a foreign princess. Then grabbing Hurrem, a free woman and the Sultan's legal wife. Hurrem outranks everyone there except Valide. Really, there is no end to that woman's arrogance. Mustafa's death was justice for everything she did. She never got to live out her wicked dreams.

If the Sultan dies his mother will no longer be Valide (Queen Mother), that title will pass on to the new Sultans Mother. Mustafa is considered the Crown prince because he is the oldest, so Mahidevran would not out rank both Hafsa Valide and Hurrem. Fratricide is a law that allows new Ottoman Sultans to kill their brothers, Mahidevran wants Mustafa to kill Hurrems sons to eliminate their claim to the throne and to see Hurrem suffer. This is why Hurrem must become powerful enough to eliminate Mustafa or watch her boys die.
