Downgrading my A5 devices to iOS 8!

I had no reason to do this but I did. I regret nothing.

I did a similar procedure on my iPhone 4S, but I downgraded it from iOS 9.3.5 to iOS 6.1.3. Even for that other iPod touch, it is nice going back to the blue color that originally was on those iPods.

I changed the build number and IOS version to 7.1.2 and after restart It says 7.1.2, software up to date same with 6.1.3 when i tried. PLease help?

Sometimes it does that, only way I’ve found that fixes that is by restoring the device with iTunes or the Finder and trying again.

dump your iOS 7 iPod Touches SHSH Blobs using Odysseus or "RossDarker" blob dumper, then you can freely go to iOS 8.4.1 - 9.3.5 then back to iOS 7!

Yes, but you’ll just need to use other tools to sideload the jailbreak apps to the device.

Unfortunately, no, as there aren't any signed OTA firmware files for iOS 8.4.1 for the 5C. For context, the only reason why the iPhone 5/4s, iPod touch 5, etc. have firmware files for iOS 8.4.1 is because a direct update from iOS 6 to iOS 9 is not possible. Therefore, Apple gives an update file to go to iOS 8 from iOS 6. The issue is that the iPhone 5C never ran iOS 6, so the OTA update was not necessary.
