Right on Ivan, First off, Stoked that you are backing Bustin and Loaded. Great guys doing good things. I didn't hear a lot about is what you want to do with the deck, but it seems like you have the cruising / carving (plus a little freestyle) covered. I might branch out to a topmount and try the Arbiter 36. It will be a lot different than what you are used to, but it's always better to build a quiver, than dupe on a board concept.

Wanted to thank you guys for building such a badass board. It's really earned a place in my quiver. It's been through a lot, the most recent event being run over by a mini van yesterday. It's still got tons of shredding in it, too! So thank you for building such an awesome board.

Gas pedals are stoopid. The tail pocket wouldn't be as effective with them.

That is a proto that will eventually be the Arbiter 36KT, Some substantial changes as far as the concave construction, particularly around the nose, where it goes to something much steeper than the Arbiter. The center and rear are still loveable foot friendly tubs though. The team seems stoked, excited to see what you think of it.

Arbiter 36 KT as messed around on by Brett Ciabatini. Perfect board for the disco, plenty of kick, plenty of concave and plenty of rocker. Super fun on a course like this with tons of features but also a lot of speed. I rode the baffle that day but the Arbiter KT is pretty perfect for events like this.

Of course, You can put any trucks on any deck, it's just a question of whether you like the trucks or not. No problems swapping out even just to try something new. Changing trucks is easy.

For me, personally, If I'm looking to go fast AND slide, I prefer a top mount with different wheel base options such as the Arbiter KT. The top mount gives me more leverage around turns, and the rocker in the nose helps lock my feet in. It also has a sweet kick for sliding. -Lindsay

I always like the Apex 40 / Arbiter combo for building a quiver. That said you could certainly look at Apex 40 + Arbiter KT or Apex 40 + Baffle 37. Arbiter KT gives you a super short wheelbase option that can be a lot of fun if you are on slower hills etc. Baffle keeps some freestyle capacity in your downhill deck and adds a flush mount option which you may or may not want (more stability). If you want to go max stability the Apex 40 + Maven is great (I race the Maven personally).

Well we have it in the presses right now, so really as soon as we can come up with enough of them to reasonably ensure our dealers and customers can get a hold of them when they come out : ) As far as Muir! Scott is an awesome guy who we have gotten to hang out with a lot more, both at the Disco, Puerto Rico as well as at the other events over the past year. So fun to shred with a guy who just goes for it 24/7. At any rate I would not be surprised at all to see Original boards up on Muir.

Hey Hax2, Belgium hasn't always been known for its hills. We see a lot of riders in Belgium choosing boards that have a big upside as far as carving and / or freestyle. A lot of riders go with the Pintail 40, or even a Drop Freeride 41 with super loose bushings. For freestyle the DiamondDrop Apex 40 has been super popular ever since the "Longboarding From Belgium with Love" video came out on KZbin. Great carving, great freestyle, a very good advanced deck for flat-ish land.

The Arbiter 36 came out last fall but is relatively new to the market. MOST people are just finding out about it now even though it has been around for a little while. That being said we are releasing a new version that incorporates a FULL kicktail as opposed to the micro kick on the Arbiter 36. That full kick, Arbiter KT is the other option (in this video) when people talk about a newer Arbiter deck. Super stoked to see what people think of it.

As soon as we can get them done. We are pushing the Arbiter KT first, followed by the fiberglass brick followed by the wood brick. That may change as we push through production but all three are pressing with the KT cutting already. Just trying to build up enough stock so we don't sell out before all of our dealers etc get in on the action.

Hey Wolf, Sounds killer to me, I actually have one Arbiter KT with 44s and one with Caliber 50s. The 44s are kick ass for higher speed stuff, but I like the 50s for just messing around in the neighborhood / city. The Rush Allweathers are one thing I would change, stainless steel is WAY softer than mold steel which is what other bearings are usually made of (or at least the good ones). Unless you are in portland, seattle or riding in the rain constantly. Abec 11 Freerides = thumbs up.

No worries at all NG. No time frame on this stuff haha If you are shooting for primarily cruising and carving something like the Pintail 40 (or alternately the Pintail 37) would fit you really well as far as your height and weight. Those two boards are really excellent for learning (if carving and cruising are your goal). That said if you want to add some sliding in at some point I might lean more toward the Freeride 38 RockerConcave or even the Drop Freeride 41. Good starters as well

When I was learning how to slide, going with a dropped deck made it much easier because my center of gravity was lower. Check out the Drop Freeride 41. It's a symmetrical dropped deck with a deep bowl shaped concave that will allow you to push into your slides easily. -Lindsay

The thing is that board length does make a difference but the type and shape of the board has to be taken into account before we can even guess whats up. We know OUR boards inside and out so when its an Original thats super easy to do, not as much with the more obscure stuff if we haven't personally come into contact with it in the past.

Haha I want one too! We are through the final stages of prorotyping so the next step is to get these things done and available. Size is almost identical to the Arbiter, I believe it was 36.4? So just a touch longer (don't quote me but thats pretty close). Fall should see the introduction of a larger version. Sean Spees; heck yeah. Kid shreds and I think his switch toesides are longer than my regular toesides haha

As soon as we mess some of them up I am sure it will haha We are pretty self critical so pretty much any little imperfection will land a board in the blem stack, which then would be available at a small discount. Since it doesn't happen that often, and happens more on specific boards than on others, there is no guarantee that a given board will be available as a blem at any given time. Just gotta take your chances and jump on it if one comes up.

Haha, well I am partial to the Arbiter since I was on the design team that worked to produce it.... BUT! The Ratmobile is certainly a consideration. Tons of love and respect heading towards Jeff, Ryan and the crew at Bustin. On both sides we are working hard and trying to produce the best possible product using the highest quality materials. We will always be a touch different, but I would say you can't go wrong. If you end up picking the Arbiter, come back and let us know what you think.

Sounds like a good fit to me, I really don't like the icey side of things so I usually cut off at the 81a formula (that or the 78a) from Abec 11. But solid choice from your description!

That's always one of the first questions to answer. There are a lot of factors to consider because different board designs require different amounts of board length to generate an effective stance. For instance a topmount like the Arbiter 36 is only 36 inches long but has plenty of stance width for pretty much anyone I have ever ridden with, while the Freeride 38 is two inches longer but has much less room. How tall and how heavy are you? That's always good information to factor in.

I rock Caliber 44s personally, but its sort of each to their own. I know a lot of the guys have been pretty stoked on the PNLs as far as precision go. Just depends on you budget and your ride style. How fast are you going?

Hey Donovan what kind of riding are you doing man? Height and weight play a bigger factor in some types / designs of boards and a smaller part in others. For topmount downhill decks like the Arbiter 36 or Arbiter KT (which you see a lot of in this video) it's not as big a deal. For other stuff like drop-through decks like the Freeride 41 or even more so for double drops like the Drop Freeride 41, its a big deal because of change in stance width. Tell us more and I think we can help.

Well they are both great, but pretty different decks. A lot of the guys on the team ride such short wheelbases that I guess there isnt a huge difference in the ride of the KT (short wheelbase) and the ride of an Arbiter thats drilled to shorten that wb. That said in general I think that for riders just getting started a longer wheelbase OG Arbiter can help with stability and initiation (assuming you are carving into your slides). Of course if you want to ollie, there is no question, go KT.
