+The Singletrack Sampler never lose that! I am in my 30s now and still loving life! Anything outdoors that gets blood pumping like biking, kayaking, scuba, etc... keeps you healthy and alive. Of course you have work and responsibilities, but can't let it control you. I have too many friends, that their whole life is nothing only work, chores, and tv. It's sad.

Starting off today's video with bad news about Sheila! Noooo! I hope that wasn't a huge hit financially. Second, I thought I remembered you hitting Windrock with Seth! 2:27 - "It feels like a freakin' couch!" I have no idea what that means, but that needs to be on a t-shirt! 5:25 - Dude, you actually sounded like you were getting nervous there. Maybe just due to concentration? It's okay if you were getting nervous. Even the best get nervous sometimes, right? 5:46 - Looks like one heck of a rut, for sure! 7:00 - "We're skipping the black, we're skipping the double black and we're going to right to the Pro GIT? I don't know, man!" Stop making sense, Alex! Sheesh! 😂 7:44 - I don't know why, but I'm taking encouragement from watching you send something that makes you nervous. I think it's good for all of us to see that there are always going to be trails that challenge us. Even those who I consider to be very skilled have trails that push their limits. Thanks for sharing this part, Alex. 12:43 - No. No. No, no, no, nonononono. NO. It looks like Windrock is the place to be, man. I was looking at their web site on Tuesday, and there's no beginner trails. I don't know if I'm good enough for green trails, but there's only one way to find out. Thanks for bringing us along on your awesome ride and for sharing your experiences, Alex! And I hope Sheila is okay! Stay upright and keep the rubber side down. #lfrhgs -Brian

Hi Alex! First of all thx for your great videos. I stopped racing DH about 10years ago. Since then i bought dh bikes and sell them. My SC Nomad was the last reason i sold my GT Fury. You don‘t really need much more than 170mm of Travel and modern geometrey. But the DH makes you feel much more confident ;) all the best from Austria!

Cool Vid, Alex. Reminded me of funny situation when two neighbors invited me to a bike tour... and forgot to tell me that there would be steep portions similar to those you rode. I was sitting on a XC bike... hardtail, no dropper post. Stopped at one jump, thinking: „should I jump, should I not?“... freakin steep. Thanks God I didn’t. :)))) For such Terrain one definitely needs such a „couch-bike“. :)))
