With components I go with HP for the primary stat, memory can get DEF as one of the two secondary and I find that is more then enough.

I find the sweet spot to be around 25k DEF for bunny and maxing out HP as much as possible with nothing invested in shield. The only time trouble arises is reviving multiple teammates with boss aggro and I've already had a few hits to my HP. If that situation happens and I fail to revive, I'll be witnessing the irony of being called glass bunny by all of my downed teammates. The Bunny hate is real.

@@russellmcgibbon6187 You dont need the sets, just stack HP unless you're playing a character which relies on defense like ajax or a shield character like enzo, ideally 3 max hp external components and 1 defense, or all hp, w/e you want but that should be more than enough to keep you alive, i actually messed up here cause i put on too much defense when it wasnt needed, defense has deminishing returns the more you stack it, but i just threw w/e on

It took me two tries with a thundercage and Sharen to take down Devourer. While I don't want to see damage meters in the game, without it I also felt like it was me who was doing the least damage. Dead Bride is still a challenge for me because of everything going on - and in matchmaking that ice dome hurts AF. Really dig your videos - one of the view content creators that you can actually replicate what they're doing. And by doing that, you're actually learning and experiencing the build. Too often people put out videos with builds - boss builds - without any def or hp and then suit up their Descendant with harder to get weapons and mods. It's like Paris Hilton telling a homeless person to just buy a house to get off the street.

I needed this video like 3 weeks ago when I hit hard mode 😂 I couldn't even get past executioner. Tried him like 10 times, pubs, solo didn't matter I just couldn't do enough damage in 10 minutes. A lot of guides tell you to use different weapons and not to use the thunder cage on bosses but the point they miss is that this is your best weapon at this stage of the game and so putting a bunch of catalysts into it is really the right move to get you to the next stage. Once you can kill some hard colossi effectively it opens up a lot of new avenues.

If you have ulti bunny and build her up shes a menace with TC, its what i play pretty much all the time on my bosses, that and Ulti Valby with supply moisture with enduring legacy. Love both of them!

This video inspired me to go and try solo Hard Mode Dead Bride and I actually did it! I used Blair and used my 4th skill every now and then but mostly I just used my Thundercage (not fully built) like you did in the video. I barely did it with just over 30 seconds left on the timer but still I killed her. Great vid!

My initial assumption was that because that there's a "Hard" mode for colossus, it was required to play with a group and that only "meta" end-game builds would be able to solo them. I struggled for days to find a group just to beat executioner, just to find out that I soloed the boss fairly easily. I think some shield/hp re-work/balancing needs to take place for group mode because it's too much of an inconvenience at this point.

Thundercage is definitely a first gun to build 3 more of since they hand you the first two for free to teach the combining mechanic and its special ability is very useful free CC. When I get new descendants, I just give them this gun and run the defense wave missions to power level them and the gun levels for socketing. I add 1 damage type enhancement mod and swap it for bosses, so I get at least one optimal damage type but usually just leave the fire mod in when world farming and weaker colossi. It's easy to get enough tank to survive bosses, it's about getting enough DPS from guns and/or powers to kill it before the timer runs out and more damage per rage bar tick.

I really wish someday they add all the enhancements to the same slot so we can just swap them when we want, im always nervous to invest in elements cause i would have to catalyst to change to a different one. 100% agree with you though

@@SamuxPlays Yeah you have to either keep one slot universal and hold back a couple mod levels for rom or sacrifice something of the right slot type if feasible or just go without and max damage. I also think mod categories really need to be reworked and reorganized so we can have easier time building. Fire and Toxic are the same type and good ones for a few bosses. Thundercage has Elec built in so its 3 out of 4 covered.

This video is very reassuring, I made the mistake of fully invested in my descendant (Ajax) and i never have to worry about dying I just can't pass dps check on hard bosses past executioner. Ive been running tamer with an energy activator and only 1 catalyst so far on it. Guess i need to grind of the rest of the cats on it and ill be fine!

What did you assume it meant when you saw "Max Thundercage Budget Descendant Build" It doesn't take that long to catalyst a gun, throw on proficency xp gain on your external component and go spam special ops, really not that hard. Its a grinding game you're not gonna max everything in an hour. This is considered low investment, the game gives you two off the rip and you can farm the others in normal. Not sure how much easier you want it XD

Dismissing the character basically deletes them and you can't use them unless you research them again. No point keeping normal bunny if you have Ultimate Bunny. That or you just don't use the character and want others without buying more slots.

Yeah its gonna look really weak when you have no descendant mods on, if i took this TC and put it on ulti bunny and or massacre gley, the difference would be night and day, but the video is exaggerated on purpose to show very low investment descendant builds with just the gun. That being said Greg's is an amazing gun and i think thats a fair call 100%

​@@MrNorker77 If you want to build your own build in this game, always take a look at the base stats before adding any mods and reactor. Many mods and reactor stat are multiplication to your base stat. So, if you have 5% crit chance on your gun or hero and then add 100% form mods, it won't give you 105% crit chance but only add 5% more crit chance, in total you have 10%. Also, you can test mods you want to use one by one or in combination with other mods without catalyst or activator as long as their on the same upgrade level.

not really that helpful. at least the later HM Colussi don't allow you to solo it before clearing it once in a group. Joining a random group with the beggsr built is gna work out as great as it sounds. So you either find a group carrying you or you are forced to have a vastly better built before you can try to solo....

In the descendants menu, there is a button at the bottom to dismiss. It basically "sells" the descendant and frees up the slot (so you'll need to refarm the materials to make them again) and you get some gold (not much I think it's like 100k?)

So once i got ultimate bunny i dismissed my regular bunny to free up a slot since in this game once you get the ultimate version you're pretty much never going to use the base version, though that can change in the future if they follow the same path as warframe, but i really needed an extra slot for another descendant lol

i do agree with u but the gun is not the only requirement. U need decent hp on your external components. So many new players enter hard mode content especially the public collossi fights with external components that lack hp. If ur hp is under 10k in a hard mode boss fight u will most likely spend alot of the fight getting killed and being a burden on your team. The defence stat makes no difference to damage taken in a boss fight. I have fought bosses when my defence was 100k and when my defence was 1k it makes no difference to ur survival at all. Its just an imaginary stat and a huge trap so many new players ( myself included) fall for. Hp on the other hand is possibly the most op stat in the game. I am pleading to all benevolent players inform as any new players as u can to boost their hp. So many boss fights fail because 1 or more team members spends the entire fight dieing and needing to be revived.

Do not invest in DEF. Put on as much HP as you can. You will be much more tankier.

That lil bit of physical DR isn't worth it. DEF also is useless against elemental Damage. Always go for as much HP as your build lets you. (Except Ajax)
