DOWNLOAD 2024 Friday Vlog! Heilung | BUSTED | Disabled Access & The Calm Before The MUD!

Hello! You beautiful creatures! How the devil are you? We are back queens and demons and we are here to slay this year at Download 2024! This was our first Download using Disabled access so we really wanted to highlight that element of the festival! We'll be doing a review of the whole experience at the end to wrap everything up in a nice lil satanic present! What can we say? Heilung we're everything we hoped they would be and more, as a spiritual individual myself and with Gareth having high appreciation for history and pagan ritual practice it was such a gorgeous experience to not only have as ourselves but along with the entire crowd! We truly went on a spiritual journey, and I feel they have added a wonderful energy and mysticism to the spiritual grounds of rock.
Scene Queen absolutely smashed it out of the park! I really enjoyed her latest song 'Barbie & Ken' so to see the whole set and be blown away by this absolute queen with her powerful message about a lot of crap we have to deal with as women is really bloody awesome! Can't wait to see her again!
And finally BUSTED! Oh my freaking god! It really filled me with joy to see the tent absolutely packed out! For saying a lot of people were hating on BUSTED, the sheer volume of rockers who went to see them proves that they can absolutely draw a crowd at Download and belong at dear old Donington!

All in all Download Day 1 was absolutely bloody brilliant and we were blissfully unaware of what we were to face in the next two days! I hope you're ready for the great Browning of 2024! See you In the next one Beautiful creatures!
