Brilliant video thanks guys I've done Download twice in my life both for Maiden headlined and went on my own camping in a tent was so awesome never forget the mud and the rain omg but you no what after a while you forget about it thanks for bringing back great memories of the Download experience I'd only wish I'd have met you guys back then keep Rocking

Two kinds of people in this world - the young and the experienced! First Download in 2006 when you were a kid! I experienced the rain at the first Monsters of Rock in 1980. Quote 2024 "all you have to do is stand an bang your fucking head" Quote 1984 "don't be throwing no shit up on stage or I'm gonna come down there and fuck your girlfriend" All things evolve but I see my generation as the best, you will always see yours as the best but the constant is the Rock family. All those smelly kids in the corner at school that when they come together are bigger and stronger than anything else. I'm still rocking out but choose my gigs these days with more than blind loyalty to the event. Keep your health so you can keep rockin' and keep your friends so you can bore your offspring in the future with stories of yesteryear when you were a lad in 2006!

Just subbed, a brilliant vlog btw. I’ve been wanting to go to download for years, unfortunately the missus doesn’t like my taste in music lol, and to be honest I only have a couple of friends who also aren’t into it. I’d go and be a solo camper but because I have anxiety issues, it stops me from actually booking a ticket. Also I’ve never been to a festival, I’ve done plenty of gigs but never a festival.

I felt the same about Bizkit! Break Stuff twice was a bit of a waste. My bro went to see them in Portland Oregon 2 weeks ago and they played Livin It Up which would have been the meta man! But really 13 songs with Break Stuff twice was a little disappointing I thought :(

Nice Vlog Brummies... went to my first Download in 2004.. went for 10 years but the weather and the facilities just got worse .. and the prices became to much for me..the last 3 i went to were awful weather... i think the bad weather just sucks the energy fromeveryone including the bands..Nice to see plenty of Vegan Grub though .. props for that..I love proper metal, so the line ups these days just aint for me anymore..
