Downloading 2D footprints & 3D models for SOLIDWORKS Electrical

In this GoEngineer SOLIDWORKS Electrical video, we cover downloading 2D footprints and 3D models for manufacturer parts. Along with Schematic symbols and line diagram symbols, 2D footprints are available for 2D cabinet layouts.
In addition, 3D models are available to further represent your project components. The electrical content portal is a great resource for accessing a large amount of manufacturer parts data, symbols, 2D footprints, and 3D models. However, it is not necessary to download 2D footprints and 3D models directly from the Electrical content portal. 2D footprints and 3D models can be downloaded directly from the manufacturer parts management in SOLIDWORKS Electrical.
