This truck is that kid you grew up with that always pissed you off because he was good at everything. I've never been a huge truck guy, but after my time in this Ford Raptor I can absolutely see the appeal! What an incredible machine!

Great informative review! I had a hearty chuckle when I saw the “Built Ford Tough” startup sequence on another F-150 for the first time. Having only driven a standard F-150 ecoboost, I was extremely impressed with its quietness and ride quality as well as the rear seat comfort. And you are right, EVERYONE wants one. Ford is doing things right

i test drove one the other day and wow, the Raptor rides just as good as a Cadillac and tons of power was very surprise the Raptor handled the highway and the regular city driving just an awesome Truck and iam a GM guy, but my Grand parents and unlces etc... have always been Ford folks in Texas, anyways awesome video.

@@dwnshft I ended up buying one :) 2018 black. One thing I noticed is the 360 camera even on my black raptor is white. Also good to mention is that you can manually select how many of the gears you actually want to use in this thing. If you only want to use 5 you can drop it down using the +/- on the left side of the shifter.

I have a 2013 Raptor Super Crew and LOVE it. Wife and kids love it too. While we'll likely keep it forever, I can also see getting the newer generation as well. Truly enjoyable to drive. It also doesn't hurt that they hold their value well. It wouldn't surprise me if they'll be selling well at collector car auctions in 20-30 years from now.

It's the capability, a friend i know has one in southern italy, and although he doesn't hoon it off road through deserts, when it comes to the shockingly shit road surfaces italy is plagued with, it soaks the bumps up like they're nothing. I agree living in a suburb, and driving to the mall and back never even touching grass (which range rover drivers nowadays know all too well) is a waste of a truck. If i ever get the chance to own one of these, it's getting put through it's paces, not treat like a priceless china vase. I drove my friends gen 2, and on the little italian roads the size is a bit off putting at first, but i drive vans and tractors for a living so... once you get passed the size, and pain in the ass of parking, it's so much fun.

Mine is a 2010 but it's an SVT and what I wanted. Ford Performance is what the team goes by now. But a Raptor is a Raptor is a Raptor.
