I love my 2020 S8. I was tempted to upgrade to the 2023, but there just weren't enough difference to justify the price tag. I agree, though. The car is a total sleeper and a joy to drive. I've shocked more than a couple of performance car drivers with the speed and handling. Great review!

I went from 2015 S8 to 2023 RS7 but unfortunately I had to downgrade due to a huge financial obligation related to a family death. I'm getting close to getting back in this market and the S8 is one of my radar blips.

I had an A8 Sport, fully loaded with virtually everything and jeeze it was amazing. I'd love an S8 at some point based purely on my A8 Sport. Then you see the reviews and that seals it.

Great video, only thing is the 4.0t is all audi, porsche, bently, and lamborghini, use a audi derived 4.0t, just usually different turbos or a tune

Electric is fine around town but for that kind of $$ I want a car that I can travel in without waiting 45 min for a partial charge. You're literally a sitting duck there w/ you're 130k automobile too!

Audi has always been about the interior and slowly it started making the most beautiful rears and taillights world has ever seen. The body, no question it’s a German car after all , those lines and elegance Only thing to be solved is front for me. Audi always had and still has front grill as if it was in dentistry with open mouth. Audi usually holded 3 rd place for me on German Luxury sedan lineup, but after latest BMW 7 series definetly Audi is in Second place. I don’t where bmw is heading? As of design ( looks ) Just my personal interest and views. Respectful of all designers and other people’s interests.

I have/had all generation of the S8 since the D2. The D2 was the best sound, had a remus exhaust on it. The D3 (V10) was a glorious engine with the beautiful sound of the V10. The D4 was comfort luxury, and super fast and agile. The current one you driving, is not sure to be comfort or agile, the gearbox is always confused, and the turbo boost doesn't kick in quickly like the previous Gen, so you are at the light and you have no idea how the car will pick up ! BUT, it remains super super comfortable, and a looker :) It is less luxurious than the new S class, but then, the S class is more for senior citizens IMO

I had a chance to pick up an S8 and went with the A8 instead. The 60 tfsi. The 449 hp version with the TT V8. A year later I am sure I made a mistake. Should have gone with the S8.

S8 for sure but best to purchase these cars used and hopefully with existing or extended warranty. Seeing used one at 40%-ish off the original new price. Seen them on the road and they look like yachts on wheels. Lol

I dig your channel period. That said I have to make a counter point for the S8 being an ultimate sedan on account of the fact that performance wise it’s inferior to Cadillac and even BMW with its inherently understeering AWD and also how the turbos neuter the V8 sound. If you are going off luxury then I’d agree but for performance, feedback and fun factor Audi is far from the best.

Still this famous grille, let's say single frame, that Audi designers are unable to master (see the new Q3, Q7 and Q8 whose gaping grilles are not really successful). They just need to take inspiration from American designers who do very well with the grilles of American SUVs. Otherwise, Audi makes the most beautiful cars in the world, in my opinion. But the grilles of the new Audit e-tron are very successful.

Because the new s63 amg will be double the price of the audi.And some people will prefer audi because it is older and they fixed many of the problems with the facelift.S class is so expensive that you can buy fully equiped audi s8 for the price of mercedes s 500 with not all options.
