Invented while played :) - A downtempo groove with a nice fat beat and some oldish rhodes sounds over a filter-mod bassline and some sweep pads. you should have millions of views. i do this at my shows with guitars and a horn and the keyboard and vocals....its a lot to keep track of. I think you really put your loops together tastefully and i would be interested in your rig setup.

John, this improv was dope. It reminded me so much of Sade's band Sweetback. Their 1996 self-titled album had the same groove; the same improvisational feel; the same laid back funk to it. I loved watching seasoned fingers strut across the keys flawlessly. You definitely have a knack for your craft, brother. Keep playin' that funky music, white-boy!

What programs and mavhines are you using here to get looping, synth sounds, etc? Also, you are my faaavorite funk pianist!! I especially dig your off the cuff funk improv 001 vid where you say your levels were too hot. If you would please make tutorials on funk improv, chord progressions, licks, transcriptions, and your own influences, it would forever change how I make my own music :)
