She also just outright asked for things.. When she made a comment about how nice something was.. it was a cue to give it to her. It was so bad that at one Royal's residence, that before her arrival, they moved all the furniture to another part of the manor, and brought out the older, less glitzy furnishings and made the place somewhat drab. That caught on with other people as well that the Queen became a little offended at the perceived frugality and simplicity of the country estates.. AKA-- there was nothing she wanted.

I have No doubt that she's an incredible actress and worthy of each and every role she performs. But I do recall in an interview when they were casting for the role of Lady Bagshaw that it was her husband that recommended and lobbied for her to get the role. I'm not sure of what other actresses where in the running, but Thank God they got it right in the end.
