I grew up in Brighton from '86-'00 and left after High School and never looked back. It's wild because the downtown is utterly unrecognizable from when my buddies and I used to cruise those streets on the eve of the new millennium.

I just found your channel and I actually live in Brighton. It's usually a lot more gorgeous then this when the construction season isn't going on. 😂😂 they constantly have some kind of construction going on a lot of those buildings are very old. And the mill pond actually that use to be a graveyard there if you would've looked closely in the water along the boardwalk you would've seen some headstones in the water now tho they look just like big rocks.

Pretty cool walk through downtown Michigan! A little cold and rainy and I see lots of roads being worked on, glad there's lots of options to eat or drink there.

Just found your channel. Lifelong Michigander here but we live on the other side of the state. I've heard of Brighton but haven't actually been there other than just driving through it. Being so close to Ann Arbor and Detroit it makes sense than it's medium-sized rather than a small town. Subbing and looking forward to watching more of your adventures!

I lived in Brighton and Hartland Michigan. Graduated from Hartland in 1973. I'm retired in Florida and have not been back there for a long time. Looks like lots of changes.

@@steve19811 For my tastes I can’t think of a downtown in Oakland County that is better. Oakland does have some really cool towns but I prefer Brighton.
