Thank you for this video, I'm from Glendale, these are the streets I grew up on before it was the Americana. That tall Masonic Temple was used for live theater and just below that where the Philz coffee is used to be a vacant lot used as a pumpkin patch in Halloween

Wow! I watch all your videos the moment they are released. Thanks for doing Calabasas stairs. Ever since moving to Japan I have missed LA more and more but your videos help me remember those LA days haha.. I am glad I got to film Glendale, its a nice area of LA. There was an underground bowling alley, and there was Shenanigan's. Many small theaters along Brand. I lived at the Brand Hotel and the Ritz Apartments. I lived in both Glendale and Eagle Rock in the 60's, 70's, 80's and up until '94 after the earthquake. I've had a union job, then grounds keeping all over Glendale and later I was homeless hunkering down wherever I could at night. Glendale has changed lots but lots is still the same. I worked at a place on Orange Avenue that isn't even there anymore and I can't even tell where it once was either; it was somewhere underneath all those tall condos.
