1. What camera do you use?
I shoot most walks on a DJI Pocket 2 or my iPhone 15 Pro Max. For drives, it's the same cameras - but on a dashcam mount.
2. Where do you live?
I live in the southeastern United States. Kentucky, specifically.
3. What do you do for a living? I work in the coffee industry. That’s all you’ll get from me on that.
4. How do you pick the locations that you film?
I film in places that I go for work, and also in places that I travel to - finding amazing travel deals is a bit of a hobby of mine.

Enjoyed this video. I've been in downtown Hamilton on a weekend evening & there was a lot of foot traffic because of all the restaurants in the Central Plaza area & patio dining. We live about 3 hours from Hamilton (near Pittsburgh) & was amazed at how vibrant it was.

Thanks for the great video. I’m a retired steel salesman, living in suburban Cincinnati and used to have a lot of customers in Hamilton and Fairfield, OH. Also, a semi pro jazz guitarist, having played gigs at Tano Bistro near the German Village, Lane Public Library, played a couple at a bar on the west side, which may be the location of the RollOn In restaurant. Have played many recording sessions (for free, as a favors to friends). Played a recording session at 3rd Street Music and was paid pretty well for a short recording.

I just found this video today. Thank you for letting Billy Yank be a part of it. As a follow up, over the last six years I have averaged a little over 2,000 visitors a year to the Monument. They visit from all over the World; UK, Scotland, Dubai, Hungary, Ukraine, Australia, China, Japan, Mexico and every State in the USA. That's not bad for an 18 hour a week museum. Our town was originally named Fairfield, but when the Army abandoned the Old Fort, the people did not want to lose their connection to it and changed the name to Hamilton. The Fort was named for Alexander Hamilton. Thank you, from a Museum Curator, VFW Cmdr., Air Force Vet., Hamiltonian.

Marcum park used to be the location of the old Mercy Hospital where i and my father was born

I was born Ft. Hamilton Hospital, only 19 years earlier. I have often traveled across thatl bridge ofen on my way to Oxford Ohio. born 1942, as I understand old bldg has been replaced with a newer one.

Ft hasn't been replaced. It has been renovated and added on to over the years. Kettering network runs it now i believe. Me and my father was born at Mercy which has been torn down and a park / music gazebo has added in it's place.

At 1:07 you should have went south down B Street to see the old stone train trestle underpass . We would walk across the trestle bridge into downtown .

The butler county historical society building is extremely haunted. You can find videos from paranormal groups showing lots of evp evidence. It's sad because those lost souls kept asking for help.

What looked like a factory is actually a giant sports complex/hotel for youth sports competitions. Its pretty incredible.

It actually used to be the old Champion Paper Mill. My mom, my aunt, my husband and my uncle all used to work there. Unfortunately this added complex/motel has only made traffic worse and made property rentals outrageous expensive. The city should have focused on fixing up the east side of town and added more housing for the massive amount of homeless that live or should i say survive on the east side

I can’t thank you enough for this. I did subscribe because you actually showed the entire film of the Billy Yank statue! I am 65 and retired. Lived in Hamilton my entire life Only been in that monument one time for a grade school field trip. I am actually going to do your walk myself now! Very cool. I have driven those streets for decades and I guess walking them makes a big difference of what you pay attention to?

I'm 62 in Az since 76 ! But Hamilton is always home . Born Ft Hamilton Hospital 1961 . So many changes I can hardly believe it . Remember The Journal News saying a helicopter flew in and stole the statue on April Fool's Day ? Most everyone I have left there is in The Millville Graveyard now ! Life sure flies by . Peace Out ! @@ThePerfectWalk Just wanted to mention that Hamilton is, in fact, named after Alexander Hamilton. It’s the 10th largest city in Ohio and the brithplace of Joe Nuxhall, the Cincinnati Reds player and longtime Reds announcer. Hamilton is also my birthplace though we moved before I was a year old and I don’t have any memories of it. So I really enjoyed exploring it with you today. Thank you!

Yup. I moved out 3 yrs ago. Born here. Lived here off and on. Spent 2yrs homeless here during the pandemic and now have a home in Middletown. The home i was brought home from the hospital in 1971 has seen a lot of crime since my family moved to Oxford in 1980. Drug dealers everywhere on 12th st where the house is. In fact nearly everywhere in the east side is bad now
