@@najbrzi28 No, he's speaking the truth. Portland is a shithole. This video doesn't show the aggressive panhandlers, the OD'ed heroin junkies strung out in the street, the hundreds of homeless tents and accompanying trash heaps, the bums shitting in business doorways, and of course the relentless parade of ass-clowns protesting SOMETHING every other week. And Portland is just the festering epicenter. The same cancer is metastisizing throughout this state and infecting everyone with "progressive" bullshit politics that raise taxes, kill jobs, and curtail freedoms. And at the same time, our Democrat supermajority in the house and senate could fix the state by delivering a balanced budget to the governor. Think they'll do that? Fuck no. It'll be more business-as-usual as they seek to further bloat the bureaucracy in 2019.

@@js3217 I haven't been to Portland for a long time but it has declined a lot since 1996. I passed through on the interstate in 2007 but didn't stop. I agree with you and why I cringe at libtards moving to my native red state of Arizona, mostly from Commiefornia. I lived in Spokane and Walla Walla and I love both of those still largely conservative towns but the regressives, mainly in Seattle, are ruining the state. I've heard the placed labeled predominantly as weird. How stereotypical after seeing this with my own eyes. This is an advanced civilization. They appear weird because they are experimenters. Obviously progressive. The people are engaged in interesting hobbies. The community is harmonious and engaged. A civilization can be easily judged without even meeting or living in it just by examining the infrastructure. Things like bike pathways on roads and pedestrian bridges over roads- it says the people care about each other. But on top of all this, humor is a sign of intelligence and social presence. When humor is a part of public interactions, this reflects hugely on the society as a whole. An intriguing place. Impressive. It must be that these 'weird' places are in fact the generators that sustain the human species- but the conservative minded, and too the haughty liberal, write off as silly. If I was viewed as silly, I would just act more silly.

@NightCamilla10 жыл бұрын
To be fair you are looking at downtown PDX and the video was only focusing on a few select places. The water front, Pioneer Square and in the area Saturday market is held by the Skidmore Fountain. Oregon itself if much larger than Portland and Portland is much larger than that small section between the college park blocks and the waterfront where this was shot. Search again. Also, if you were to play uplifting music to the same video it wouldn't seem quite as sad.

The one thing this video shows (that I've heard in other videos) that I really like is that people in Portland aren't afraid to be different and be themselves. I hear people say "Portland's weird" and if that's the case, I need to move there ASAP. Being the type of person to admit to being "strange", it's always weird for me living here on the Eastern Shore of Maryland knowing I only have a few "weird" friends. Awesome video, dude.
