They specified he isnt licensed in that state. Man could very well possess an out of state license (doesnt change the legality of it, few states have mutual recognition laws regarding security, but it does effect if this guy is an outright wannabe wacker, or just an out of state guard that didnt complete a bureaucratic rubber stamp)
@GamerGateVeteran9 ай бұрын
@Packhorse-bh8qn As I pointed out in a separate comment, that isnt an NYPD Det badge. Whatever else this guard may or may not have done, the NYPD Det trying to claim that style as exclusive to them is just stupid. Starburst is one of the most popular styles of badge for Police, Fire, EMS, and Security forces around the world. Plus if you actually look closely at this attempted "side by side" you can see that guards badge is 100% not at all a NYPD Det badge. Everything about it is different down to the "seal" in the middle. No one department or agency has a copyright or trademark or "dibs" on any style of badge. If anyone wanted to play that game, private security is a much older profession and the use of badges by police forces comes from the "coat of arms" or "blazon of arms" badges that private forces wore to show to whom they were employed by and under whose authority they operated. Two things can be true at once. Someone can have done something wrong, without having done every wrong thing under the sun.

It’s cut and dry, black and white he either they stole or they didn’t. If someone stops me as a black man and says you stole something, let me go through your pockets you’ve lost your mind and I’m gonna file lawsuit as a business owner. I will make sure that I hire quality candidates have enough common sense to make these judgments on the spot that’s why you’re employed. I’m in the nightclub business. You’re dealing with rowdy, drunk people all the time who make mistakes I want to sue you for it. I literally had a drunk person fall down some stairs during a fight and try to sue us. The tactical set up doesn't prove anything, it's just PPE just the same as steel cap boots or a hard hat. If the individual can't see and understand that then they are the problem, not the equipment. I myself am a security guard in my country (not American) and I wear this sort of kit depending on the job I'm doing and client requirements but I understand that the equipment I carry doesn't make me any better or worse as a guard and that it just makes me safer/harder to injure.
