Would be great for ndsp to integrate "drop half step", "drop one step" etc buttons straight into the plugin. I'm sure that wouldn't be too difficult. This is a professional opinion from not a software/audio engineer.

@@mitchthegreat no. The WOW function 1 is "fatso" an octave down (heel down) to an octave up (toe down) blended with dry signal depending on how the dry/wet switch is set. Blade 1 is an octave up toe down position and blade 2 is 2 octaves up toe down position (no wet/dry). What people do to drop tune is set to blade 1 then slowly put the pedal in position to achieve a drop tuned effect. (Somewhere in the sweep on the pedal). There is no fixed position, atm it needs to be done by trial and error, possibly a tuner after the plugin to get it right. I just thought it may be cool to have a couple of presets to drop the tuning by 1,2,3,4,5 etc steps to achieve a specific tuning, obviously depending on what your guitar is tuned to

Just drop ur guitar to D, and down one by one, save them to user preset. name them. Therefore you don't have to go and down it each time you open the preset

It would be such a game changer to have a realistic pitchfork/drop pedal plug-in. I could probably sell half of my guitars that I use for alternative tunings. I wouldn't......but hypothetically I could.

@@DapperHesher No there is not, but my point was that there isn't really a great sounding real-time pitch shifting plugin that exists (though I've heard promising things about the new transpose feature in some of the newest NeuralDSP releases). But you can just put a DigiTech Drop in front of your DI box/interface, works perfectly

I have tried it also, and for me it works pretty decent but, with a sort of ambient breakup tone (with delay & reverb, playing the clean amp with 90% of gain and de OD as a clean boost) when I play chords, the sound has a little oscillation. I don't know if you have experienced something like that.

While I haven't bought the plugin yet because I don't have that much time to play guitar at the moment, I think that the pitch shifter itself, as well as the other amazing effects are absolutely worth the money alone. A digitech whammy itself is 150 €, so..

This should be included in every archetype. I enjoy Nolly more than Gojira but can’t pitch shift unless it’s in a DAW after being recorded. Just using my axe fx at this point for the pitch shifts

I purchased Blackstar's Live Logic midi controller and would like to pair it with an expression pedal to check neuraldsp plugins in particular I would like to use it to manage the Archetype Goyira's Whammy pedal? Which one would you recommend easy to match my midi and manage?.. Mission Engineering EP-1? or I also saw the Midi pedal of the Beat Bears.. They gave me the Boss EV30 pedal but I can't set it up with the Whammy Goyira pedal. What do you give me? Thank you

Am I just stupid but is there any way to use the presets and only get the downtuned note? The presets work great as a plug in and altering the pitch on a recorded track but I can´t figure out how to use it directly with an amp without hearing both the original note and the pitch shifted one. I am probably a noob at this but I thought 100% wet on the pitch shift pedal would allow me to play downtuned in real time by just adding an amp and speaker but I can´t get it to work.

This seems to be a browser issue. I tried with chrome and did not work, but with MS Edge it worked. Try a different browser and that should solve the issue.

I tried some pitch shifted presets. It feels more like an harmonizer at bedroom volume because you also hear your strings. It's a cool feature to listen to a recorded riff with different pitches but feels strange when you play.

Why oh why this drop tuning plugin is not a stand-alone option as of yet? I'm a bass player and I use parallax to play live, I'd love to buy this drop tuning pedal right away, but I have no use in buying the Gojira pack just for this.

Yes, it's polyphonic and it works extremely well imo! I use it to drop my tuning down all the time without actually tuning my guitar.

I’ve got a Digitech Drop tune pedal but it gets a bit muddy past -5 or -6 semitones. I thought this might help a bit better for low stuff I need to do but it’s about the same. Does anyone have any tips for bringing back some of that lost clarity?

I can't understand how you came up with that conclusion... I mean I have both the digitech drop pedal and the vst. I've tested multiple tones with different guitars and tunings in decent monitors and headphones, namely the DT770 pro and the difference in quality is clear, the pedal keeps the tone clarity and articulation way better then the vst, not to mention the fact that the pedal has 0 latency and you can take it everywhere...

Leave it to Windows to automatically hide the Program Data folder. Spent 20 minutes looking for it to drop off these presets and ended up having to change a setting because I guess Program Data counts as a hidden folder now???
