Downwind run from Deale to Annapolis in my Cape Dory 28 Sailboat

A quick summer overnight trip on the Chesapeake Bay from Deale to Annapolis and back riding 100% downwind on my spruced up 1981 Cape Dory 28 sailboat named "Kukai". Rode a 10kt southerly there and a 15kt northerly back for a total trip length of just about 40nm averaging about 5kts the entire way. Close up 4k shots of the Woodwind II (wedding crashers), a walking tour of the city, surprise evening storm, broken whisker pole and more!

My guess is that it is your prop spinning that is turning the boat.

Yes, prop walk will cause the boat to "turn" when under power.

@@DK-mt1xw the moorings are first come first serve and there’s usually space if you get there on the earlier side Friday. I hailed the harbor master and they come to you by boat to collect $ which is $35/night
