Ghana 🇬🇭 soldiers shouldn't set the excavators ablaze . They can be seized to make them state assets for national engineering or construction works. They shouldn't set them on fire . These are very expensive machineries. It cost a lot. Instead they can become state owned machines which will cut down government expenditure with regards to purchasing same equipments or machineries for state construction purposes. These excavators were lawfully confiscated through legislative or constitutional means. They shouldn't be burnt down

There is no true local government system in Ghana. Central government still takes important decisions for local governments. Assembly common fund is abused by central government with impunity. The recent imposed road construction equipment is an important example.

Why didn't former president Mahama do similar to dissuade people from illegal mining during his tenure. But his attitude towards the issue of galamsay is not helpful either But the media is not dealing with this attitude of the former president at all. Hypocrisy 🎉
