Every hard working fire fighter and every crew member deserves thousands of thank you's and prayers. We could have lost SOUTH SHORE ....yesterday and today. So happy to hear from this news up date that the winds have been somewhat calm. This has been one of the most terrifying times in my life. Tahoe has had a large and special impact ony life. Glad as well that Gardener MT. and my high school was spared from fire once again. Praying now for the Heavenly Valley neighborhoods. Huge thank you 💗 to every fire fighter ...!!

Sierra Club must be very disturbed by the sight of this heavy equipment in the forest. Knock those trees down fire fighters. Lets clean up the mess that tree huggers created.

@@imagelush5146 Hi Image! A big part of the reason for the fire is because trpa has refused to allow anyone to do anything resembling forest management. Hence we have fires like this

TRPA is so uptight that when a guardrail was put up, it was the wrong one. It’s was a galvanized steel and not a steel guardrails that rust. This is because a rusted guardrail matches the scenic view. Yet if the rust reaches the water, it can create algae decreasing the clarity of the water.
