I'm so happy for Tillie! I related so much to her experience, I started laughing when she said she saw everyone else as zombies and she thought why no one else is thinking about this??? Same bestie, but I'm also getting better thanks to my therapist and your videos Robin!! I'm really grateful ❤ I hope everyone seeing this knows that you can get better!!

ive never done drugs but i had the same experience, ive been known to make myself "trip" just from my thoughts alone in the past so i guess something in my brain just eventually collided with all the fear and thoughts over a time and just broke me. its all good tho

Looking for advice or tips on getting through the feeling that everyone else is asleep and you know all of these answers to reality

Sure thing! I had exactly this!! Firstly ask yourself what answers you think you have uncovered? For me, I thought I had woken up to the fact that we don’t know why we are here and I found it crazy other people weren’t freaking out or thinking about that . But then I slowly realised, people ARE and do think about that, they just have accepted that we don’t know, and it’s okay not to know and carry on with experiencing life. I felt like I was crazy because it’s all I could think about and no one else seemed to care, but they actually do, people wonder and seek meaning to the question of existence through religion, studying philosophy, reading books watching videos, doing psychedelics etc. and most people don’t feel like they know the answer, but they accept that, and that’s why they don’t freak out and get anxious, because it’s okay not to know, and we have no choice to accept that and realise there is nothing to fear! 😊 any scary answers to questions of existence that your mind gives you are not real, they’re just coming from the ego, which will always give you the worst case scenario to try to protect you, but most of the time what we worry about never happens, it’s the same with this!! I hope this helps, let me know if I’ve misunderstood!!

I have for what seems to be 10 years now been in on and off dissociation 24/7. I’ve had a handful of “clarity” moments some lasted an hour some a few hours but then back to DR not so much DP. I’m struggling with depression and anhedonia and what seems like OCD over a lot of things especially life and basically the meaning of it. Is there any chance that I can recover even though it’s been so long? I don’t want to lose hope but not sure what to do anymore.

@@fighter1991fu asking if she’s seen people or worked with people who’ve recovered from years of this is a bad comment? I’m just looking for some hope. If you don’t like my comment because you’re afraid of not healing as well don’t attack me for it. It’s okay to not be okay.

@@kowrw I don’t know if you have read it, but Paul David describes his experience of coming out of derealization after 10 years. I myself know several people who spent about 10 years in this. I also know people who recovered after a year or a year and a half. Those who are sick for a long time do not doing nothing to get well. Sitting at home, not going anywhere, afraid of their derealization.... they think it's a sentence. If this is your case, read David Paul

@@kowrw I had chronic derealization a year ago after a series of panic attacks. A year passed and I recovered. It all started with the fact that the psychologist who treated me gradually taught me to think differently about my condition. That is, at first I thought that derealization is a breakdown, it is something that will kill me and drive me crazy. My life is over, I will never be the same. Then gradually, slowly, I learned to understand and perceive derealization as a defense mechanism that appeared not for that to harm me, but to protect me.And I began to gradually recover. Of course, if I continued to think about this as a huge unsolvable problem, I would continue to experience it for 10 years and 30, the anxiety loop can be fed endlessly. But everything is solved while the person is alive. Contact a specialist. It may take you longer to recover, but it's 100% possible. You really have to put in the effort.
