DPF clean with Mr Muscle? - Will it work? - P2002 DPF Below threshold - 2015 Audi TDI Ultra

I've had a few issues with the dpf myself, been watching lots of videos etc (Steven B. Tuner did tests on diffrent chemicals on a cut up DPF which is worth a watch). So i also spoke to a tech at VW who told me before trying to clean it manually get the car upto temp and then get it on a Motorway, sit with the car revving at 2500-3000 for five to ten mins while cruising which will get the DPF hot. That will fix 80% of DPF clog issues assuming it's not got an underlying problem (Coolant temp sensor, Thermostat etc). A lot of the better fault code readers will give you a differental value across the DPF and a % it's blocked!! I'm not a fan of putting anything into an expencive DPF i can't wash out after, knowing caustic is heat reactive and it has a habit of soaking into the fiber heat insulation i'm not sure Mr Muscle is the best solution.

Mr Muscle did a brilliant job on cleaning up my varibale valve turbo on my mk4 golf. Re your DPF, it may have cleaned it but, why was it not cleaning itself is the question. If it fills up again and doesn't burn off when at the set limit there's an underlying issue. What you've done is a good idea and certainly novel but you really need to follow-up with an immediate investigation of why it was full and not self regulating.

I have done mine while engine idling removed the oxygen sensor and sprayed engine degreaser believe me or not I managed to clean it well and when I saw the silencer at the rear of the car it was throwing out all the gunk and black sludge out from the dpf and car runs absolutely spot on picks gone way better

For the price of the Mrs muscle you coultof brought wynns off the car dpf cleaner. And just poured in in.

The dpf cleaner doesn’t foam naturally like mr muscle does.

If its a 2004 it was registered before 2005 therefore it's perfectly legal to remove the dpf and replace it with a standard exhaust system. Why bother with all this nonsense.

Its very foamy , accidentally you can damage turbo compressor wheel

Works great also on totally clogged inlet manifold. And turbo. Make sure to blast it our after.
