Got the same problem but mine is stuck in limp mode if i clear the code its back on and in limp mode within 100ft could this valve be my issue

I tried that last week and at first the car wouldn't start back up I nearly drained the battery trying to get it fired up

I have just cleaned the inlet manifold to stop swirl flaps sticking on a 100k Astra K. The manifold pressure sensor has a temp sensor built in which I’d how the egr low flow is sensed by the ecu. Cleaning the sensor in the past also clear P0266 no 2 cylinder in balance !

I don’t unfortunately, I believe the tool gives you instructions on how to do this, but was far to complicated for my non maths head. 👍

​@@Roverturboif you remove the pipe at the front, below the EGR valve. Bend it forward and you can spray EGR cleaner in the running engine.

Older EVs had poor batteries but it all depends on who's owned it and how its been used, The newer ones 2019 onwards have a better battery and range, You payed way less than £2000 for a 2011 car that will do 40 miles before charging giving you 10-15 miles to find a charger, Result mate.

Yes, the wing is slotted but you have to get a open ended 10mm? spanner up the inner wheel arch to undo a few turns.

I am based in France, and our Zafira(Vauxhall) 1.6 is at the garage currently with this exact problem. The garage notified us that the injectors are stuck and won't budge at all, what can we do in this situation? The garage are claiming that they need to call in a specialist and the repair is going to cost 2,000 euros more expensive now. Do you got any tips or tricks on how to remove the injectors on this model without breaking them or the our banking account? Awesome video, thanks for your hard work

If its a 2004 it was registered before 2005 therefore it's perfectly legal to remove the dpf and replace it with a standard exhaust system. Why bother with all this nonsense.

Having only 24wh i will not ask how many volts and amps but if it is your 12 volt battery you do need a other battery because the electronica can not do a lot with 24 watt

No does not work , just blocks up radiator cores , the engine will over heat due to poor water circulation because of the stop leak fluid partially blocking water ways

Well that’s not how “steel seal” works tho is it.. it reacts with the heat from the combustion process and hardens. Hence head gasket repair.. not a water seal.

Also if u do use it clean the cast up intween the valve seats where the spark plug is often there is thin ridges that will crack off during heat and can get in between piston wall and scratch it

These heads are junk they will fail esrly they are made of softer dirty aluminum the casting is imperfect in ways that can lead to failure namely in tha cam cradles they are thinner and they wear down quickly and often times the valves do not seal 100percent

Thank you for posting this guide, it gave me the confidence to do ours over the weekend. We do not have a ugga ugga gun so we used the locking plate that required the starter to be removed. The crank bolt required a 3 meter bar over the breaker bar, so we could get the bolt out. I would also recommend buying a replacement crank bolt. Thank you again.🎉

I drive a very similar car… it is our family daily driver. it has been brilliant… 13 years old now… so battery is a bit depleted… but it is still great for around town. Lots of space, drives well, never a mechanical issue…

Hi, I'll be attempting this job myself shortly on a 2019 Seat Leon Estate, 1.6 TDI DSG gearbox. Please could you advise if you have another video which demonstrates the removal of the clutch pack from the box? I am unable to find a video which demonstrates this using the same puller kit as you have.

I don’t. But it’s very easy. Remove the big circlip and remove the first clutch spring plate. Then the small circlip underneath, the tool pushes into the holes in the clutch, twist to lock in, and screw the screw down and it pulls the clutch off.

Thank you so much for this video. I had my EGR replaced and the code kept coming back, I'm certain it must be the cooler. I tried today and got the egr and throttle body out. When I was trying to remove the bypass pipe I dropped the end of my socket down the bay with that tricky nut :(. Will give it another go tomorrow when I get a replacement socket. I did find it strange that the EGR bolts I removed were top right and bottom left, yours look they were top and bottom right, my car is an Astra K 2016. Great video, thanks. Do u think it is possible to clean the cooler in situ. By taking egr valve and the short metal tubing off. Then filling cooler with cleaning fluid to soak. Then extract fluid before reassembly.

Hello Sir ! Thanks for the video. I see it was little tight to insert the plate that simulate the pin ring. I wonder how did the drive feel after installing the gearbox in the car ? Was it smooth and every thing fine ? I have bought the laser tool and planning to replace the dsg clutch by my self. Thanks

Great videos matey. Before I remove the cooler ect :- I have 1.6 cdti mokka, cleaned silver elbow pipe( very dirty),throttle body( not too dirty) and egr(not too dirty) put it back together, started it then within 5 seconds it conked out, can only get it started for 4 or 5 seconds with easy start. It's as if some foreign body (lumps of disturbed carbon) got jammed somewhere and starved it.would a fully blocked cooler cause a no start condition ? Cheers

Well i did it .I have taken of the cooler .mine was Completely blocked up.i used egr cleaner to Soften up the carbon deposits. then i used a jet wash and pulse the jet wash so it remove the carbon deposits..And it worked .went for a drive on the motorway got home no Codes .Grate work Roverturbo

You did well to get the tensioner out, without putting it into the service position. We replaced my tensioner which was rusted, and the idler for good measure. And put a new belt on (i ended up putting another belt on because the guy who meant to do it, messed it up). Really hard to get to the tensioner bolt. This video doesn't show you how little space we have at the front, or how bloody sharp all the edges are 😂

Probably been said 100 times by now, but the manual roof tool, you have to unscrew the red section, then twist the tool in to the hole, then tighten the red part, then twist the lot. You have to open/close the back one as well sometimes and it takes a bit of strength to open it, unlatching is easy but getting it to lift is quite hard. I find I have to go through the entire sequence if the roof mechanism/software gets confused. Also pressing the roof operation button forwards, let's pressure out of the system, which you need to do to close it manually

No good, the range wasn’t usable and I couldn’t sell it. So I’m breaking it. I bought a crashed damaged 2017 tekna 30kw. So I’m driving that now, has 100 miles range. I love it.
