Can it be just cut out a peace of the DPF, take the filter out and welding back the peace (basically empty the inside of the DPF part) to avoid all this work and safe money too?

I know tunes are for “off-road use only” but if your planning on keeping your GC diesel until it dies. Do you happen to know if the tunes make it so it could pass an obd2 emissions test if it has to?

Well that’s your call. It depends on the laws in your area. Some places are very strict with that sort of thing and other places are pretty relaxed.

I wonder if that engine is a MB 3.0 liter diesel? V642 - this whole dpf/scr/cat system looks almost identical to my 4x4 sprinter system.

So, how much benefit is deleting the DPF? My 15 Summit 4x4 Eco Diesel only gets about 21-25 mpg. Averaging like 22.5 mpg. I was expecting a bit better. Any ideas of MPG after delete? Secondly, do you have a CEL on for the rest of the car's life, or does the ECM flash wipe that permanently?

Dpf removable will open it up. Also that exhaust has scrap metal junk price I'm sure its pruty good that exhaust new I'm sure is a boat load Ebay it someone from California needs one to pass state emission laws...

Without removing the dpf you will plug it since you will no longer regen to burn the soot.

Have to get a tune but it’s nothing bad for the car it’s self maybe the environment. But have to tune it out otherwise won’t pass emissions or trick emissions.

Next going to show how to replace the brakes! Spoiler alert couldn’t get the rims off so he just cut it off with a torch! Next he’s going to try hauling a Christmas tree home I won’t spoil that one I’ll just say the roof wasn’t high enough so he makes room in the most unconventional way!

Hehehe I see you are new to diesels 🤣 I fully deleted my f350 a few years ago and then went to go sell it a few years later and said they would be happy to buy it from me if the DPF system was intact and installed.... Took me 2 full days to get it back in, working and the ECM returned to stock so yes... It is a very large pain in the ass no matter what you do.

Just cut the wires because you can’t get at a connector. What a hack and such a lazy way. What would happen if someone needed to return the vehicle back to stock and found this done to their vehicle ? Especially you having video of cutting the wires lmfao.
